Got these to replace some two bulb hemisphere ceiling lights. These are much flatter to the ceiling and actually help make the space seem a tad more open. The install was easy, but before I mention steps, just a reminder to always shut off, lock-out and tag-out those breakers -- safety first. So, once the power is confirmed off, just attach the ring to the box, connect the two wires, select the temperature (we went with the mid between warm and cool), and then push the unit up and rotate to lock. You did read that correctly as two wires - this unit is plastic body, so there is no ground connection -- if this bothers you, do not get this unit. Actually put up both the 12inch and 15 inch versions, and the lumens on the 12 are better for halls and utility rooms -- they would probably work for a larger room, but I prefer the more lumens from the 15 for those, personnaly. I am quite happy with the light output and form factor, so definitely recommend for those who like this style. ... show more

The LED light 4 pack comes in at such a great value. As shown the mounting plate will fit on any rectangle or round electrical box which is nice for versatility. The light comes with like a 6in whip of wire off the back. It is small gauge wire but I guess that's ok. Since it is such low amp draw. The light is very thin and very bright. It also has adjustable color temperature which helps to you pick the right tone light for your space. We put ours in the laundry area so we went with a white light. Overall I look forward to installing the rest of these lights in closets for better lighting. ... show more

Replaced a few smaller 9" lights that were not very color accurate with these. The color choices are very crisp and do not put out any green tinted light like some lights do. In the pictures they are set at 6000K. The installation is very simple, and the brackets are nice because they are fully slotted from outside to inside, which if the ceiling box isn't centered in the drywall hole is very useful! These things are super bright. I bought to replace my two light fixtures in both my laundry room and garage. One probably would have been enough for the laundry room and 2 in the garage really provides a large amount of light. Great for rooms with out much natural lighting. Probably wouldn't use in an everyday living space though.
