Rather than persuading small alligator clips to hold on screws such as those for a thermostat connection to a furnace try these, quick to connect. A valuable addition to any test lead / patch lead set.

First off, I might as well admit that I meant to order the test probe leads, but clicked on the magnetic leads instead - that's totally my mistake, and I'm sure I'll find a use for these. They're very good quality, with what feels like silicone insulation, good integrated strain relief, and strong magnets that are firmly attached and make good connections. I have a lot of cheap leads that fall apart, and while I haven't really put these leads through their paces, I can tell that they are a cut above; well worth the price. I also didn't realize when ordering that they would take so long to arrive. The original delivery estimate was for a month, though I ended up getting them in two weeks. I don't know if it was just an inventory glitch, since they're supposed to have two day shipping; hopefully the sellers can address this issue. ... show more
