My 30 year old decorative, corded candles finally bit the dust and I needed something new. So I decided to go the easy route and get these candles that come with suction cups, a remote, batteries and some decorative wreaths. The candles were packaged well when they arrived and all I had to do was put the included batteries into the candles to get them turned on. Easy peazy. I then put them onto my windows for display with the included suction cups and they looked really nice. A few hours later I touched the lighted part of the candle to see if it was hot and it wasn't even warm. That was a nice change from the heated night light bulbs that I had been using on my old candles! I also fiddled with the remote and was able to turn the candles on and off with no problem. I then used the timer on the remote to program the candles to turn on and off at a certain time. Needless to say I was quite impressed that all the candles turned off when I wanted them to and then came back on the next day at the time I had programmed. Anyway, I really like that these candles are so easy to use, don't require extension cords and love how they look from the outside. It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last, but for now, I am very happy with this purchase! ... show more

I would buy these again. You have the choice between flickering and non-flickering. There is also a brightness setting but, honestly, I couldn't see a difference when I used it. The main reason for the four star rating rather than five, is because the bases do not screw onto the candles. I suppose if you just set the candle in the base and put it on a table or windowsill, it would be okay. But if you think you can suspend your candle on the window with the suction cup AND use the base, it doesn't work. Didn't matter much to me as I was more interested in the suction cup option, but if that's important to you-don't buy. ... show more

These are great. They have a remote that allows you to put them on a timer, determine the brightness and they won’t fall off the windowsill. No more plugging and unplugging as we did in the old days. They provide the batteries and the suction cups.

I have been looking for the perfect candles for my windows for the Christmas season. I grew up with them so I knew I wanted to recreate that beautiful aesthetic my Mother always achieved. I am always very nervous with LEDs.. I feel like you never know what you’re getting with color/brightness etc. But tick all of the boxes* and have gone above my expectations. They look sharp, and are very festive and while yes they are made of plastic, they can be dressed up and hidden in a fancier candleholder should you need. No one can tell from the street which is the audience I’m decorating for. They work well in every window- sill or no sill, thanks to the suction cups. We have a few rooms upstairs with no sill so I didn’t think anything would work.. but they’re the perfect solution (I use the suction cups up there). I was afraid they’d have to be turned off when kids went down to sleep but no, they can easily stay on with blinds down- the suction cups allow them to be pretty flush with window pane. *The only thing I admit to doing to alter these is that I rubbed a little orange marker on the flame.. this gave them a little warmer glow. The original flame brightness and color came across as too white and bright for me.. dull and unnatural if you will. Typical thing you worry about when you buy an LED. But this fixed it perfectly. Crayola marker just rubbed on and you’re golden. Small price for the perfect candle. So I highly recommend these. No LED is ever going to replace the quality of an incandescent bulb, but these are the next next best thing ! ... show more

I just got them tonight. As soon as I attempted to park t two candles into the arms of the suction cups, the plastic arms broke off. Strike one. I think they look very close to real candles, light wise. The bases are obviously plastic but I’m thrilled by the actual light appearance. Suction cups are not reliable at all. The remote needs to be used within a very close range. I feel like there’s real promise here, but there are several issues: for example the dimmer seems to be lacking. Even when adjusted high, the flame is still quite dull. I want to love these, but one suction cup unit was missing & two broke immediately. ... show more
