The body is plastic, a lot of plastic. The screen mounts on a sort of plastic hot shoe, very little meat on the bones to hold it super securely. If you're careful it won't break. Articulating head works very well, it'll go beyond 180 degrees, so you can point it right up at its own tube if needed, though I wouldn't recommend that because it doesn't seem to like being asked to turn that tightly. Steering it is a little tricky at first, because the camera isn't exactly aligned with the swivel axis. Screen is decent, can be seen in daylight, good battery life, good image capture. case is sturdy, and low profile enough to fit in cheaper toolboxes that have the drawers that arent deep enough ... show more

I am blown away that you can get this kind of technology at this price point. An expensive ring got stuck inside a door frame and I thought our options were going to be replacing it or opening up the door frame. Thanks to this borescope we were able to get the ring out without damaging anything, which was amazing given that the ring had slipped under a couple of ledges. Highly recommended! ... show more

    • Clear picture w 180 oscillating head and camera flips view smallest diameter on Amazon
I liked how the camera can be directed at the end and flipped to see multiple angles. The picture view was clear and you can take pictures to review later with a built in memory. Comes in a nice soft zippered padded case. Unfortunately it did not fit in my rifle bore as I had hoped.

This borescope is by far the best picture for the price and the flexibility of the cord is nice not having a coiled cord like other brands do when you roll them up.

This borescope is exactly what any diesel mechanic needs when looking into cylinders. The ability to turn the camera back around gives you the ability to look at the cylinder head through the injector hole! This has been a fantastic purchase! I am usually pretty picky and have no problem returning items I am dissatisfied with. This was a keeper! The articulating camera makes this the best borescope I have ever used. The design puts all the important controls right at your thumb. The thumbwheel has a mark on it that I use make sure the head is in it's straight position so I can easily pull it back out of tight spaces. The probe cable is just right, not too long to get tangled up and long enough to reach what needs to be seen. Sharp picture. Autofocus works well and adjustable illumination helps get a good picture. Unit boots fast and has never crashed or locked up. Great battery life and holds charge when in storage. Comes with a card that makes transfer of pictures to a computer super easy. Comes in a very nice protective case to neatly store everything. Added bonus: it comes with a magnet, hook and side mirror that securely screw onto the probe tip. I don't use these often, but they are sometimes handy and I didn't have to make an extra purchase just to find out. I have had a very good experience with this, so yes, I would buy again! ... show more

This borescope is easy to use especially since it has an articulating head, makes it much quicker to maneuver to the area you want to look at. Have used it to track a wiring problem under the car dashboard where I couldn't get a clear line of sight.
