Took it out on some rough water the first time I had it out and I hid the top on it on a tree going about 8 mph and didn’t even crack it or anything this trolling motor is one to buy I’ve had about every brand but this one is pretty awesome it pushes really good doesn’t drain the battery to bad and it will tell you about how much battery you have left it’s pretty well accurate i must say

Don't run on high. First time out ran on high for maybe 20min . Heard a loud bang and motor quit running. I lifted out of water to check when put back in the water air bubbles came out of the motor housing. This was today have not taken it back out to see if I could get it to run. I bought the 68lb trolling motor planning to go with out a gas motor on the small lake behind my houser BAD IDEAL
