Took it out on some rough water the first time I had it out and I hid the top on it on a tree going about 8 mph and didn’t even crack it or anything this trolling motor is one to buy I’ve had about every brand but this one is pretty awesome it pushes really good doesn’t drain the battery to bad and it will tell you about how much battery you have left it’s pretty well accurate i must say
