I purchased this as a second PC and am really impressed. I was surprised it came with Windows 11 Prom as I am used to 11 Home edition. The 12th gen i5 processor is really fast!!! My only minor complaints are the power button is very small and same color as the PC making it difficult to locate. Also, I wish the speaker jack was in back or side of unit. Other than these minor wishes there are really no down sides I can see. There are plenty of ports and the PC is very quiet. I do recommend and would purchase again! The pros: very small and light, very good number of connectors for a device this small, fast enough, very easy to add a SATA SSD, good if you just want to run Windows on it. The cons: whiny annoying fan that gets loud with moderate CPU pressure, non-standard BIOS or UEFI, no safe boot, no way I could find to make it boot Linux by default (something I have done on quite a few other systems). You need to hit ESC as the system starts to boot, go to the rightmost screen and choose 'Boot Ubuntu'. Annoying. Regarding the fan noise, turning off 'turbo' mode, on Linux, helps. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I'm super impressed by this mini PC. As I said in the video this is the third PC that I've bought from Ace magic and every time it gets better. I bought this specific PC to use for my work and will be hosting some web applications on it for internal use. I have all this set up and I can say that it's super speedy and definitely has enough processing power to accomplish this. I'm sure you could also do some gaming or even more powerful stuff on it. Overall I will continue buying my mini PCs from Ace magic because it's always a great quality and a good price. ... show more

    • Poor design leads to overheating issues

This mini pc looks great on paper but has a very poor design. It is obvious there was a focus on keeping things small and compact at the expense of real world usage where overheating causes issues. This mini pc is passively cooled, meaning it relies on a heat sink to dissipate heat as opposed to a combination of a heat sink and a fan. The description is somewhat deceptive since it implies there is a fan but there's not. Furthermore the compartment for a 2.5" solid state drive happens to be directly above the heat sink, and with heavy read-write cycles that are typical of setting up an OS (or in my case virtualization) the 2.5" drive ends up overheating and disconnecting at run time thereby making the mini pc practically useless. This could have easily been avoided with a design that had a cooling fan and perhaps more air flow space, but that would have meant additional cost both in terms of R&D and in terms of components. Sadly because the SSD keeps disconnecting, this mini pc is useless to me. ... show more
