This is a large, sturdy, and comfortable chair. For the price ($170), this is one of the better chairs in its range. Assembly takes less than an hour, with clear instructions and even spare screws. The seat is wide with thick, cushioned leather base. I'm 6'8", 400lbs and can sit comfortably (with my head touching the top of the chair). Massaging "hands" line up perfectly in the lumbar position and hit the exact area of issue that would even prompt one to consider buying a chair like this. The protrusion when inactive isn't excessively noticeable, but can be mitigated regardless by the pillow provided with the chair. The only cons that can be thought of are the fact that the massaging feature is only in the lumbar portion of the back. Some chairs in this range offer thigh and upper back massaging, as well as heating. (It should be noted that the massage hand protrusion is significantly more noticeable on those kinds of chairs.) The power cable is also short and has the potential to be cumbersome. This is an issue with all similar chairs however.

The seat is very comfy & plush. Very easy to put together. The massage only has one setting. No vibration or heat. And yes, without the pillow, the massage knobs are uncomfortable poking you in the back. The pillow alleviates this problem. The reclining feature & foot rest is amazing!! The only issue i have is that the seat edge feels lower than the rest of the seat, so my legs start hurting if I don't have my feet elevated off the ground.

Work from home means I need a chair that can switch from crunch mode to chill mode. This one does both! Lean back to 160 degrees, pop out the footrest, and I'm basically napping in comfort. The recline stays put where I set it, no sudden drops. Great for quick breaks or unwinding after deadlines.

I guess I'm missing something. I'm not sure how you use this for an office chair. If you aren't using the kneading function the kneading "fingers" are just poking you in the back. I guess I thought they would retract or something. I would return it, but the box was destroyed in shipping. I'm going to have to purchase an extra back cushion or something to make this workable.
