Great starter kit. I got this when I started leatherwork and it has been useful it is good quality but some you will need to upgrade but for this price and the amount of stuff you get it works. There is a lot to go into with this kit, for me it seems good somethings I'd change. The edge bevelers are of a style that I'll be trading out in the future, the pricking iron is just bad. It hangs up in the material and refuses to come out without a fight. So it will be another thing I upgrade from the kit, the stamps seem good. I've used a few of them they make good tooling images. Now one thing and I'll admit it's just a nitpick and not a big deal at all. But the wooden hand tools there are 3 different colors of wood stain and some don't have a stain at all. Not that it effects their usefulness it's just an observation.

For the price this was a great buy. I've only needed to purchase a few extras outside of this bundle. The exacto knives are good but for my heavy hand they were small. I also had to purchase bigger hole punches they didn't include enough sizes. But everything that came with it is pretty great for a beginner.

i got this for the roll up bag mostly. which is nothing massively impressive but it works also just so much thread. the tools seem decent quality for a set nothing compared to higher end tools you buy individually but for a set these are pretty good. the mallet is especially nice compared to some other sets i have tried. the blades are sharp the thread is like i said abundant. the snaps work well. I don't think there was any tool in it that was unusable. Even the apron is nice for a lil craft apron.

I'd give 3.5 stars if I could.It's better than 3, but really shouldn't get 4 stars. It's not a bad kit, it is a tremendous value for the amount of stuff you get for the price, but the quality of the tools seems to be about what I expected. Hobby grade. Everything is functional but I don't believe it's going to hold up very well. I don't completely regret buying it as it gave us a huge head-start in being able to complete projects, but I'm sure we'll be replacing most of the items along the way as they are showing wear quickly. If I had to do over again, I would've just pieced together my own kit as needs arose. The rivet/snap kit that is included seems marginal quality and the die/punch tools that are included are not big enough for the larger rivets. The punch does not cover enough of the rivet dome head and causes damage to the rivet when trying to install them.
