For my 7x4ft bed I made three hoops of six green pieces each, and then had to make 1 smaller hoop using 5 pieces because I had to accommodate a tomato plant growing in my kale, spinach and chard patch. I used the BelleBill 6.5ft by 10ft 40% shade cloth on that section and it worked great! I then made three hoops of six pieces each to cover 3/4 of my 9x4ft bed with general plant netting. It would have worked for the entire planter but I have some nodding onions growing on the end. This was easy to assemble and seems like a nice product.

Going into my second year of using these in the garden, they are easy to install, easy to break down, super light-weight, and over all a good deal! I got them to hold up some bird netting the first year in a battle with the neighborhood robins and I used them this year to make a temporary green house over my raised bed to protect from the weather get a head start on our short season and they held up to a bit of heavy snow on the plastic! I did add a cross bar on top to help keep it stable. I have a 4 foot wide bed and can fit 5 hoops made from this kit and it works great!

Ive used these for 2 months now and so far they've been great. I have several 4 x 4 ft garden beds so i set my poles in a criss cross X pattern to drape some fabric over my young and vulnerable transplants. I have the poles pushed into the ground about 10" and theres been no movement in heavy storms. I have noticed some sun damage to the included fabric clips, theyre only fading in color at this stage but hopefully they wont continue to bake to point of cracking. The metal connectors, so far, have stood up to rain without corrosion, and its been a rainy spring here. The poles are at a good intersection of flexibility and rigidity. They werent flexible enough to span over a 2 ft wide garden bed...just a little too narrow. Good value for the price even if you need to replace the fabric clips at some point .

I had no trouble bending these hoop rods once I connected at least two together. No way I could bend one. Some reviewers noted difficulty bending them but did not specify if they were trying to bend only one or 2+ rods attached. The supplied clips work well with netting that is not thick. I'm not sure one could attach a heavy fabric to them.

The plastic pieces keep breaking in the garden. I have them set up in an elevated planter as hoops to hold shade cloth over my vegetables. 1/2 of the rods have broken. I used a minimum of three rods plus two connectors to make hoops. They typically break near the metal connector pieces. The metal connectors have worked fine, but I still cannot recommend this product.

Easy to assemble, feels sturdy and does what I hoped it would do. We have a lot of wind here so we'll see how it performs but so far, so good. The clips really helped with stabilizing the netting and the garden doesn't look so messy.

Arrived really quickly, set up was easy and hope they keep the birds from eating all my strawberries. I haven't putt he netting on yet because my first netting wouldn't allow pollinators to get to the plants. The clips that came seem like they will do the job.
