The description of this light doesn't have a lot of information. But if you dig further into the details and read the description in the pictures it gives you a better understanding of what this light can actually do. 1. This is a very bright 150 watt lamp fixture. The led's produce more light than you think it would. 2. Vegetative and bloom light setting. In photo five, there are switches for veg and bloom, depending on what you are trying to achieve. In photos two and three I tried to take pictures of each setting. It was hard to take a picture because the light was blinding. Both switches can be used at the same time. 3. They provide you with the necessary hardware to hang this light from the ceiling. We have many outdoor plants that enjoy the outdoor sunshine during the warmer months. But being tropical plants they do not enjoy the cold, winter weather. Simply bringing all these plants inside was not practical because of the lack of western and southern exposure windows. So getting this light will be the solution to the problem. We will set all the outside plants in the basement and let this light be the "sunshine" in the winter. It beats throwing them away at the end of the year and then spending hundreds of dollars each year replacing them.

This grow light has been a fantastic addition to my indoor setup. It gives off a strong full spectrum that really helps my plants thrive, especially seedlings and herbs that don’t get enough natural sunlight. I noticed sturdier growth and healthier leaves within a couple of weeks of use. The coverage area is generous for its size, and it doesn’t give off too much heat, so I don’t have to worry about burning my plants. Hanging it was simple, and the switches make it easy to control settings. Overall, this light feels well built and has already made a noticeable difference in my plants’ growth, making it a solid choice for anyone starting or expanding an indoor garden.

A lot of grow lights state that they are bright, or have the full spectrum, etc. These lights are the real deal and here is what I like about them: 1) Can set up to vegetative and/or bloom mode for different lights. 2) I have used this brand n the past and it works WELL on seedlings. Does not make them spindly 3) These do not produce a lot of heat 4) Comes with all cables to hang these just about anywhere 5) Lights are VERY bright and easily cover a 2 x 2 space. 6) Include IR lights - very important in growing veggies 7) You can daisy chain these together! But this leads me to what I do NOT like: 1) It does not come with the daisy chain cable. Not usrre how to acquire that. I use these on the cheap indoor/outdoors, four shelf greenhouses with success in starting seedlings indoors. Buy with confidence.

For my needs this is a perfect light for seed starting before spring planting. It comes with the needed hardware for hanging and it is super bright. I don't plan to use the veg and bloom cycles, so turning both on will give full spectrum, but the option is there to control the light spectrum if needed. This light is very well made and solid, industrial in quality.

I have another grow light that is very similar to this one, yet this grow light is way better. In order to start seeds indoors most effectively, you need proper grow lights. My original grow light, similar to this one, had an intensity of 978 PPFD, as measured by my light meter. PPFD is the useable light for seed starting and early plant growth and a PPFD of 300-900 is commonly recommended. This light measured 1000+ PPFD on both the vegetable and on the bloom settings. When on together, they registered almost 2000 PPFD. This light is very effective for seed starting and early plant development. Note: my older light was $20 cheaper, however, this light gives more useable light for the plant. Since the light has such intensity, that means that you can mount the light higher and have it illuminate a larger area, use fewer lights, and have to move the lights less frequently.
