Well, this could not have been better. The price was great, and it's been running 24/7 the entire winter and he is toasty warm. I feel his fur when he comes out to go for dinner in his dinner tent. His fur it nice and warm, so I know the heater is working well! I can hear it, so I know it's been working continually. I just sat it in a corner in his living room and rant the water and winter proof cord out his front door to the nearest outdoor outlet. You can also put it on a wall if you want. Easy installation! It has safety features too which is important. I rate this as a five star product.

This has been a lifesaver during the cold snaps! My dogs love it and don’t even want to leave the kennel they get really snuggled up. It’s going two winters strong so far, easy to hook up and well priced!

I use this with my outdoor kennel with 1 inch foam insulation boards wrapped around the kennel and on the roof under my kennel cover and in maintains 65 degrees in 30 degree weather outside. Works great. Heats it up to sauna like temps There are 2 settings half heat and full. It automatically shuts off at 95 degrees and turns back on at 85 ish. I just put it on low during the day when it is warmer. Nowadays I use half power at night when it is in 50s

I live in a warm climate but needed a heater for my 13 year old tortoise on those colder nights. This dog house heater actually does what it’s supposed to do. It is small but mighty. It monitors the temperature of his house and keeps him warm and cozy when the temperature drops. It has weathered many storms with no power issues or damage to the external cord. I no longer have to worry about my pet any more when it’s colder outside.

I've been using this in an outdoor cat box for a few weeks with temps in the teens and it works great to keep the box warm inside with drinking water unfrozen. Our cat has spent a lot more time in it. (The box has a cat door that allows only him inside.) I did notice it getting a bit TOO warm when the outside temps got up to 50 or so (I have a remote, smart temp gauge in the box as well), so I put a "smart plug" on it so I can regulate at what temp it goes on/off.

Although the product insert claims that this heater has built-in safety features, such as shutting off at 80 degrees and restarting at 70 degrees, my experience has been quite different. The heater continued to operate even after reaching 93 degrees, at which point I manually turned it off. Additionally, the insert suggests that the heater should shut off if it is tipped over, but mine did not do that either. To test this, I turned on the heater and laid it down on its face, and it continued to run. Given these issues, I have stopped using it immediately. I would never feel safe using this heater in my home again.

This is a great product. I wish I would have purchased it sooner. I would always worry about my fur babies during the cold season and spend money buying blankets making sure they were warm, until I realized about this item. It keeps them warm and cozy and they love it. I’m a widow and I had no problem installing it. My only regret was I should have purchased it years ago.

The product description failed to show the actual manual which states that the heater pops on when the temperature dips below 95 degrees F, and shuts off at 100. So basically this heater has no functionality other than keeping a space between 95 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit! This is way, way, too hot for my 6x4 foot enclosed dog house. Would have opted for a temperature controlled model instead if the production description would have been more thorough. This is best for an outdoor situation; not enclosed spaces.
