  • Super happy with the purchase!
Size: Large
The media could not be loaded. We have two 70 lb American staffy/pit mixes and it can be difficult to adequately exercise both of them, especially in the winter. We bought the large treadmill to help supplement their exercise. The box is heavy so it’s a two-person job to assemble but we found it easy to follow the instructions. Overall, the structure of the treadmill is very study and the quality is great. The lack of a brake is my only complaint but we use a chopped closet rod to secure the wheels so the dogs can climb on and off without the belt moving. It has taken just over a week to patiently and slowly train one of the dogs on the treadmill. Day 1-2 was just getting her on and off the treadmill with treats and lots of praise. We introduced some movement on day 3. The video shows how we used a high value reward (ribs!) to encourage her to move on day 5. By day 8, she is happily running and walking on it with only verbal motivation from us. She’s really enjoying it and we are super happy with the purchase! Also, want to mention that the company accidentally shipped us 2 treadmills. We notified them of the mistake but they have a policy of not resending previously opened boxes so they told us to just keep the second one. Love that policy and found their customer service to be quickly responsive. ... show more

  • Well built and practical
Size: Large
The media could not be loaded. It's taken Baelin quite a bit of time before he's gotten really comfortable, even looking forward to his treadmill sessions. He understood and could use it within weeks but just prefers to go outside so he would walk a bit and then stand still. Continued positive exposure has made this well worth the cost It's built very well, sturdy and accommodates Baelin (95 lbs & 28" at his shoulders). It's heavy and doesn't shift while in use. The assembly was a snap, everything fit just right. I've found it especially helpful in rebuilding his strength/stamina after a mandatory rest period. It's not silent but neither is it obnoxiously loud. It's equivalent to ambient noise outside in a populated area. ... show more

  • Slatmill
Size: Large
The media could not be loaded. Great quality, easy to assemble, but wish I would’ve gotten the upgraded one but it’s still perfect. Absolutely recommend 10/10. Really tires out my mals and Shepards and didn’t take long for them to get comfortable on the mill. Wood is soft so no worries about their paws or joints ... show more

  • Decent Product, Weird Design.
Size: Large
TL;DR :: (-1) star, weird design with the adjustment knobs for the the harness connections (-1) star for the lack of a hand brake which is just... Incredibly weird oversight on design. Full walkthrough of my install experience below. -------- So this was a risky purchase from my perspective - a lot of cash for something that (while already has decent reviews) we didn't know a lot about. But we knew our pup needed it cause the snow was piling up outside. My first initial reaction to it - they straight up shibari'd the package. Thing was covered in cardboard, Styrofoam, and weird shipping straps. While i appreciate the protection that went into the shipping, my main point is to remind readers that this thing is *unwieldy*. It's a giant casket-style box and you need to make sure you have the room to not only store it, but unbox it, once it's delivered. Hope you didn't plan to put it anywhere except the first floor. K, unboxing done - first gut reaction was annoyance. Written instructions are overly simplified, the provided video was in poorly-subbed non-English (and it didn't even look like the correct product, it almost looked like a knock off?), and NONE of the parts/bags are labeled. Now - this may have been a big nuisance for other things, but this was actually relatively easy to figure out, it used the same size bolts over the entire setup and all the holes were threaded nicely and everything fit cleanly. But for the cost of the thing, it'd be nice to have very clear instructions. Again, reminder that during install, you need to move it around a bit to get everything in place and it is fairly heavy, certainly wasn't the easiest thing to do myself. You will manage just fine I'm sure, but get a partner (or a child, labor laws don't apply to household chores right?) And have them help you -- and make sure you build it where you want it to go!!! That was my first real mistake, built it in one room, then had to rearrange furniture like Tetris style to get it where it is needed. Moving on - I was nervous about the legs, but thanks to a decent design plan, the manufacturer incorporated brackets on all 4. So while the frame itself is sturdy, it's also very stable. Bonus points for that. After the legs was the pillars, then followed by the rail sides - again, solid design practice here by having multiple bolts secure each piece to the frame and to other pieces. Ran into my first big error at the 30min mark - I put the feet on the wrong side of the frame. The instructions have a small note in red that specifically says to put the TALLER feet next to the groove, and I guess I just skimmed right over that. So don't be me, and pay attention!! Another smaller error as I was getting the railings installed - the instructions have (another small red lettering) note that states the poles with knobs at the top should be "facing inward" and I confused myself and had them facing "each other" rather than facing the inside of the slats. The picture I post shows how NOT to install them, they need to be rotated 90° from what my pic shows. Starting on the railings - the "D" bolts with turn knobs were very confusing at first. The instructions showed them unclearly, but I realized that the two bolts *WITHOUT* allen key head have to be inserted in the knob side like a socket, not like a normal bolt. If you look closely at the image, you will see what I'm saying. I think these were the first design "flaw" I've noticed, it just... Didn't make sense why they chose to use these specific types of connections. There had to have been a better way to do this. Especially cause the bolts do not align very easily. I had the loosen the middle bracket to be able to lift it up and get the sliding knob in place, then tighten it back down. Does not seem very well designed for this specific piece. Finally, the last bit of install is done and I gave the dogs a chance to test it out. We have a medium-sized husky/terrier that fit perfectly and, while a bit nervous, got on, sat and even took a few uncertain steps while hooked up. The large pitbull/hound was even more excited to get on, but with some wobbly legs he was very anxious and wanted off immediately. I think the biggest issue with this design is the total lack of a hand brake. Honestly, I have to knock off a star because of that, and it's a shame, but it's a complete oversight that is mind blowing - especially because the frame is designed in a manner that would allow for one easily!! I will have to build something myself to make a brake work, but it's just crazy the manufacturer didn't add one to the design. Will update in the future with more pix/vids of the boys using it, but for now the install is done and training begins. ... show more

  • Great
Size: Large
The media could not be loaded. So far so good. Got the large for our weim. Took her about a day to get comfortable but she seems to like it and will jump up on it on her own. Be careful with children though. Place tiny hand in the wrong spot and itll get gone. Some alignment could be better but overall it works great ... show more

  • So far, solid!
Size: Large
Initial review: I'll admit I was a little scared to buy a slat mill on amazon, but the price was right and there's a lot of good reviews! Pros: Packaged very well. Super easy to put together. I did it by myself. Just don't tighten screws until each one is started for any specific part. Comes with a one year warranty. Cons: I'm not a fan of the incline that is built in. We leveled it out easily though with a fitness step under the back end. I do wish it had a manual brake. I may not need it after my dogs are comfortable getting on and off, but it would be nice at the moment for sure. I've only had it 2 days so I will update down the road. ... show more
