    • Great value for under $500!
Haven’t had this king sleeper sofa for long, but for the price, it seems like a steal. We were looking for these qualities for a sleeper sofa: 1. King-sized 2. Comfortable to sit on 3. Comfortable to sleep on 4. Easy to switch between sofa and bed (doesn’t require much strength) 5. Cream color (as it will be used in an all glass Victorian conservatory and we didn’t want anything that might absorb the sun and get too hot or faded) 6. Fabric on the back as it won’t sit against a wall and will be visible from the family room sliding glass door near it (many Amazon couches have unfinished backs, I learned by reading reviews) 7. Side pocket or pockets for remotes, magazines, etc. 8. Chargers (this one has two kinds but both are only on one side) 9. Doesn’t sit flat on the floor but has four small legs or thin long side legs or some combo (as it will be on a heated floor and furniture shouldn’t be right up against the radiant heating) 10. Can hold a good amount of weight (we are on the small or normal size but have at least one friend who likely weighs over 300 pounds and she wouldn’t likely be sitting on this couch alone) 11. Isn’t crazy heavy so it can be moved around a room 12. Doesn’t have buttons or other what I consider Colonial-style adornments but has either a contemporary or Victorian look as it will be used in a house that is a contemporary with a Victorian conservatory added to the back 13. Can also be used as a lounger on one or both sides 14. Has cup holders 15. Has wide arms for putting books and magazines on and/or a cup holder attachment on This couch met more qualifications than any other (all of the first 13 above) we could find, and we spent many hours over many months searching on Amazon as well as in stores in our area. The only king sleeper sofa we found in a local store was super comfortable, but a little hard to open up to the sleeper and crazy expensive (depending on the material chosen, around $6,000 with shipping and tax for the cheapest material and I think over $6,500 for the most expensive material, plus online reviews said it often arrived damaged and took seven months rather than the promised two to arrive from Texas and that customer service was none-existent! So you might be able to imagine my delight when we found this sofa for under $500 with shipping, and I was able to assemble it (I am not mechanically inclined and usually leave all furniture assembling to my husband) with not much trouble. I have slept well on it twice, and find it very comfortable to sit on and chat with a friend, but we aren’t tall people and I am not so sure how they will like it as this couch lays low to the ground (and feels especially low for the bed, but at least if someone falls out of it, they won’t likely be as hurt). So why am I giving it four stars rather than five? 1. It sheds like crazy - I mean my black clothes were covered in cream fibers no matter the material of black clothes I was wearing. I haven’t tried vacuuming it but will. If that doesn’t work, I guess I will test one pillow covering in the washer and see if that helps. One friend pointed out that these fibers aren’t just on clothes but we are inhaling them. Yikes. 2. You can’t just keep the sheets on the bed like with pull up and out sleeper sofas as the cushions that make the “mattress” are also the cushions for the couch. I am using a $100+ thick mattress pad to both make the dips between the six “mattress” cushions less obvious and hold the two sides together better, so have to put that on and then the fitted sheet, top sheets, blanket, and comforter, so it takes a bit to make the bed. Some random notes: 1. The box this comes in is amazingly small for this furniture. Some of the cushions are vacuumed sealed, and they expand quickly. We let them sit the 72 hours before using them but the expansion seemed pretty immediate. 2. The corners and edges of some of the top cushions sometimes don’t lay quite right. I am often picking them up and straightening them out and placing them back. 3. We have decided we will just use side tables for cups and that the cup holders wouldn’t really look right in a Victorian conservatory. Maybe this is sour grapes, but they don’t taste that sour to me if they are. ... show more

Highly impressed with this little couch. Searching for a futon for my office. I searched locally before turning to Amazon. There a ton of options out there and after reading hundreds of reviews, I was so happy I found this one. Texture, width, padding and ease of assembly did not disappoint. Easy to put together with two people. Pillows open so that you can add stuffing and/or wash it. The side pocket and USB/C port are a bonus! Good find for the $$ ... show more

Based on the reviews, we thought this would be a plush, comfy sofa and a great option as an extra guest bed when needed. Unfortunately, the cushions are hard, thin, and not at all plush. Very uncomfortable to sit on! We followed the recommendation to allow the cushions 72 hours to sit out and fluff since they arrived shrink-wrapped in the box. This didn’t help at all! Cushions still thin and hard after almost a week. Very disappointed!! We do NOT recommend this product!!! Waste of money - so uncomfortable. Not sure how anyone could have given it a good review. ... show more

After comparing tons of sofa beds, I took a chance on this one despite some reviews mentioning it being firm. So glad I did! When it arrived, the cushions were a bit flat, but after one week they fully fluffed up and now look and feel amazing. It's not ultra-plush, but that medium-soft firmness is actually perfect – supportive as a sofa and still comfy as a bed. My dog absolutely loves it too! Drawbacks: 1. Seat cushions are very flat and hard. It is like sitting or lying on a wooden bench. 2. The back pillows are under filled and sagging already in only two weeks of use 3. We had to hire someone to construct it an added expense. 4. Impossible to reach the company for replacement of cushions. Doesn’t seem to have longevity of use.
