It’s very easy to change out the options and to operate. Love that it has a remote control as some of the other options that I was looking at did not. This is a beautiful electric fireplace at a great price. It's got plenty of color options. You can choose between installing the logs or the crystals. We went with crystals. I chose this one mainly because some of the competitors reviews complained of theirs being noisy while using heat. This is quiet. - However the trade off is that the heat section is small (only the center vent blows heat). And it doesn't blow much heat at all. So if you expect to do any real heating with it, beside supplementary, you may want to consider another unit. As large as it is you get a "warm vibe" that the heater can't live up to. Still we love it. It's beautiful in our non-heated garage. An added space heater is helping ... show more

The perfect fire place for us. It was easy to install. And height and length on the photo was right so that made it easier to install. The only thing I wish this did was have an option to make the fire “crackle” like a real fire! Other than that it’s perfect for us!
