The shed came well packed and there was no damage to the parts. You have to unpack everything and peel plastic coverings off of all the panels. The first pieces you need are at the bottom of the box. I recommend getting a magnetic bit driver for all the screws. It says 12 hour build time and I think it's pretty accurate if you are building by yourself. The instructions are very detailed and give sections showing common mistakes, which is very helpful. I did not make any mistakes and building went smoothly. All the panels lined up and once it is all put together, it is pretty solid. I am very happy with the shed and everyone who has seen it was impressed. Would buy from this company again because of the quality, detailed instructions, and packing/prime shipping.

i read some good things about this shed, also read some bad things, so i decided to chime in and give a review of my own. to start, yes, the materials are on the cheaper side. this shed cost me ~$230 shipped from China, and both Amazon AND the manufacturer made enough profit on this to continue doing so. wrap your head around that for a second. but! i am happy with the shed and have a specific purpose in mind for it. it is a 'stop gap' that will last about a year or so until we decide to build something out that is more long term. is it cheap? you bet. so temper you expectations. 1. wear gloves. the gloves provided will fit your children, but not you, so have some ready. 2. the directions will, at times, make you question your handle on the English language. but their English is better than my Chinese, so i will give them a pass. 3. take your time. i jumped ahead a couple of times because i 'saw where the directions were going'. i was right, but the panels and other materials will 'overlap' at certain points and i had to disassemble and go back. 4. i put a ledger board across 2 posts of the fence so i could build a 'deck-like' platform. the directions mention a cement foundation; choice is yours, but you have to put it on something (decking, concrete, boards, something). 5. it does not come with 'flooring'. the plyboard is mine and used under the shed. i will put more plyboard inside, but nothing major. 6. several of the panels (corrugated steel) WILL be dented and bent. just the way it is. they are very easy to bend back into position with gloves. 7. this shed is NOT secure. at all. a 6 year old can rip the doors off. but, it is rainproof and i can caulk around the bottom to seal it a little better. 8. it took me ~ 6 hours to put together with a drill and a nut driver (there are bolts that are used), and a few times i needed another pair of hands. but 95% i was ok putting it together myself. 9. not all of the 'plastic film' comes off easily. this is to protect the surface of the metal, but was such a pain that i ended up leaving it on a lot of the panels (see the front photo) 10. i believe that a total of 4 screw holes were missing or incorrect. not the end of the world; just push a little harder with the screw gun and start/tap a new hole with the screw. there are a couple of instances where the directions instruct you to do this anyway, not a big deal. 11. BE PATIENT :) we are currently in a position where we have more time than money (for this project), or else i would have spent $1200 and gotten something that will last. but this is WELL WORTH $230. i am a handy guy, so others may struggle a bit, but understand what you are getting into. do not expect top quality. do not expect quality control (i was NOT missing any pieces and was given a bunch of extra screws/washers). if you are somewhat handy, patient, and understand what you are getting, there is no reason to be dissatisfied with this shed.

The materials you get for the price leaves a lot to be desired; We could have built a much nicer wood one for the same price. The metal and other materials are flimsy and there are gaps galore in the structure, so it’s NOT suited for storage items requiring a waterproof environment. Also, since it’s not stated explicitly in the ad, this model does NOT come with a floor. The floor base (66x43) can be easily fitted with plywood—of course, this is an extra expense. The instructions are well-thought out and thorough, but perhaps more diagrams would have been helpful. I do want to highlight the “common mistakes” notes for each step that did end up being handy. It’s a shame that the highlight of this shed was the instructions. Because the shed is technically standing (I doubt it will be after a decent breeze comes through) and the floor base is quite sturdy, I gave two stars.

We were sent a shed that is black in color. It was supposed to be light tan color. That would have better matched our house. But we kept it and set it up. First thing, there is a very thin layer of plastic on the outside of all of the panels. This was a HUGE headache taking off!! It took longer to get all of that off the panels than it did to set up the shed! Second, plan on having help! It is possible to do alone, but the panels are so thin that they bend and warp very easily. Especially if you have no help with assembly!! It will suffice for our needs, temporarily at least, perhaps longer. We'll find out just how durable the shed really is. Very disappointed in the quality for the price we paid for this shed! For the amount we spent on this, it should have been of much better quality!! I will update my review as, and if, needed. Just be aware, you don't always get what you pay for.... Be well!

I wouldn't call this shed easy to build, but I did it by myself in 2 afternoons. I'm a middle-aged woman who is a computer programmer by day so this is not something I do often. Two people could do it in one afternoon easily. I gave it 4 stars overall because the metal is *very* thin, and bends easily while you're putting it together. You have to be very careful it doesn't bend or by the time you are done the door doesn't open and close very easily. I am okay with its quality overall because I'm just using it to store garden tools in, but just be aware it is not going to be acceptable for anything you need to access daily. However, I want to say that the instructions to put this thing together were above and beyond! The author clearly took into account previous customers' input and rewrote the instructions. If you pay close attention to the pictures and follow them to the letter, it's is really simple to put this shed together. Pay close attention to the directions when you put the roof joists together so you don't make the mistake I made and you'll be fine.
