I read other reviews, which state that they didn’t want a product made in China, or they think they are poorly made, or break easily. I disagree totally! Most of the manicurists in the United States are Vietnamese, Chinese, or Japanese!! They know what they’re doing! These pencils are fragile, yes of course! But they work! And they work well! They sharpen well in a regular pencil sharpener, unlike the big fat ones that the US makes. And I have found that if you wet your fingertips, rather than the pencil itself… They work perfectly well! I would highly recommend them.

These don't work. They seem waxy. Put under my nail and immediately breaks. No way was able too sharpen. Break every time. Useless

The pencils are too soft and break every time I use them. Not too long ago they were too dry and did not do the job designed to do. What is the problem; why change a good product?

This will not give you a French manicure. It will, however, whiten yellowed fingernails. Does it crumble? Yes. Does it build up under nails? Yes. Does it work? IMHO, also, yes. I cake it under my nails when they're damp in the evening. By morning when I get washed, my nails are nicely whitened. Is this how it's supposed to be used? Couldn't say... But my nails look much better, and that's all that matters to me. Does the Sally's Beauty pencil work better? Yes. Unfortunately, I don't think it's available any longer. For the price, these work well enough for me.

I had use these before but this time, they are so quick to break , the white lead after sharpen doesn’t stay long and continues has to keep sharpening it, but it does give your mail that French manicure looks

These are not workable. Disintegrated when trying to put under nail tip and also in the pencil sharpener no matter how gentle attempts at sharpening were. Did not whiten under nail tip at all
