I have a daybed in my living room and purchased another product for the front and sides. However, I got tired of the mattress constantly slipping backward toward the window, so I purchased these as the other item had been priced out of site. I will say that I like these better. The others occasionally fall off, but these babies seem like they are there to stay. I know some people say they will only work on a box spring, but I have these holding just the mattress in place and they have don the job well. Like I said, in my review, the box was open and the materials, including the screws were loose in the bag. The product does exactly what it’s supposed to do, hold your mattress on a metal frame, and keeps it from sliding around.

    • Put on before putting on the mattress.
These work great but I had to almost crawl under the bed to put it on because once you put the mattress on you can't slide it over to put on the 2nd side. Then tricky to put the fitted sheet on but it's wonderful that the mattress doesn't slide over.

These brackets are well-made and could work if your mattress comes out to the edge of your frame. Our mattress does not, so we were not able to use them. But, I was able to return them without any issues. Other than that, they appeared to be well-made and strong. They are easy to install, even a caveman can do it. ... show more

These were easy to use and worked much better than expected. I have used these for a couple months and even with large dogs playing on the bed, the mattresses now stays on the frame. I really thought they be be too short when I first installed them, but they have held up well.
