We make mead as a household hobby, and these are great little bags for steeping fruit and herbs in the honey water. It makes cleaning it out so much easier than anything else we've tried The bags fit nicely in a gallon jar and are easy enough to hand wash, as long as you empty the fruit out pretty immediately after pulling it from the jar

These fit beautifully over my 5 gallon buckets - being able to tighten them with the drawstring is so helpful. The fine fine mesh they have in this really does save SOOOO much time when it comes to trying to filter out the honey. This has given me the cleanest honey I've been able to harvest. We had a dead out this winter so we had some honey left and extracted it this weekend and these mesh bags were amazing. The best part is cleaning is actually really easy - you just wash with warm water and let it air dry and wait for the next use. I can't get over how well this worked - the bag didn't slip off while extracting honey. These actually with stood us doing a little scrapping at times of the honey to filter it through quicker and it still held up so the actually product as a whole is very sturdy. I am so glad that I don't have to use my metal strainer anymore because these really are a game changer - every beekeeper needs these as part of their beekeeping equipment. I can't get over how clean our honey is after using this and this comes with 6 bags - that are reusable!! The amount of time this saved me from having to do multiple filters is well worth every penny - the cost of these bags is beyond reasonable.

I bought this 6‑pack of honey filter bags because we’ve been trying to do more homemade honey extraction as a little family project, and these made the whole process way easier especially when balancing curious toddlers underfoot! The ultra‑fine food‑grade mesh does a great job straining out wax bits, bee pollen, and debris so the honey that comes through is smooth and clear. I love that the drawstring fits neatly over our 5‑gallon bucket it stays put instead of sliding in and making a sticky mess (a serious plus with kids around). Cleanup is super simple just rinse with warm water and let them air dry. We’ve reused these bags a bunch of times already without any tearing or fraying. The fact that you get six in a set means I always have a clean one ready while the others dry. For anyone doing honey extraction or straining other liquids like syrup, oils, or juices, this set is a really good value. It’s sturdy, reusable, and makes cleanup after bee day so much less chaotic (which is saying something when toddlers want to help every step of the way 😄). Highly recommend!

Haven't used them yet, they appear to be large enough for what I want. Maybe I may use to strain honey, I planned to use the for straining wax.

The BEEKNOWS Honey Filter Bags come in a vacuum sealed back that you have to cut open to use. This could be wishful thinking, but it makes me feel like they are clean and sanitary. The bags are big enough to fit your whole frame if you want, or you can cut the honeycomb out. They are also big enough to line your bucket if you want to go that route. I like the drawstring feature too because you can tightly secure the bag and then squeeze the comb out if you'd like. I'm confident that when it comes time to harvest, the fine mesh will keep all foreign objects out and provide for a clean batch of honey. At the current asking price of $11.99, these are comparable in price and value to other similar products. The bags feel well-made and durable and are advertised as washable and reusable, which makes me confident that these will last me more than one season.
