Needed to build a custom DIY light rack for my grow tent because I already had 6 T8 4ft bulbs and didn't want to invest in one of those already made spyderfarmers of the like. So with a few cuts on a couple of PVC pipes and some zip ties I was ready with my rack. But how to mount it so that I could easily raise and lower it as needed? Answer? With THESE! My only negative is the release mechanism isn't the easiest to use. I really like a push button release instead of the tab on this one. But good so far.

I use the for plant room leds and they are wonderful. I tried to make something else and it was simply a waste of time. Definitely worth the money!

I bought these to suspend some grow lights. Works fine. I also used them to hold open a cold frame. Worked for that as well

I replaced all of my existing adjustable ratchet hangers with these, and I will say that the action is smooth and easy to operate, and are likely better than what you get pre-packaged with other purchases. I haven't had any binding issues, or the cords getting frayed or damaged. Not really a whole lot to say about them, other than they're a good deal and high quality. These ones will definitely cover your "which one is best?" bases for sure. ... show more
