4 stars because they seem to be holding up well and haven’t broken like similar products I’ve used previously but they are very hard to operate with one hand. I have to hold cabinet open with one hand and push down at the base with other.

Preferred the old version. This new version doesn’t have a way for them to stay unlocked when you don’t need the lock feature. They’re also just too strong and difficult to close without pushing the spring down.

My cat, Kali, figured out how to open the cabinet door under the kitchen sink. She would slither through all the bottles of cleaning stuff. She is very considerate that way. I looked and looked on Amazon for baby safe locks and finally located these. They come 6 to a box. I only need one, but I figured when this one breaks (it's plastic,so it won't last forever) I'll have quick replacements. I really like that I didn't need screws. When it's time to replace one, all I need is my blow dryer to release the sticky stuff, and put a new one on. They are easy to store since they are in a zip lock bag. They come with the pieces to either use it in drawers or cabinets, with or without a lip for the lock. They are very easy to install, and instructions are included, with pictures included. They stick on very well. I no longer worry about Kali getting hurt or sick from the cleaners under the sink. She is probably thinking; "Rats, foiled again"! Finally, the price is great!

They work great and are very sturdy. Measure exactly both pieces before installing if you’re using the adhesives and not the screws so that they meet accordingly so that you don’t have to adjust them. The adhesive is pretty sturdy so it requires pulling it off the cabinet if you do
