I’ve been using these literally every single day since I got them. They've been great from freezing chunks of meat to grind for meatballs, dumping my entire blender worth of roasted tomato sauce into one when I made tortellini lasagne (if you know, you know), to holding chopped cucumbers, onions, peppers, all lined up in the fridge so I can just grab and build a salad in 30 seconds or less. Endless possibilities! It’s been so stupidly convenient, I feel like I'm living life on easy mode and have no idea how I was able to function before. All of my hotel pans until now have been metal. I specifically wanted smaller polycarbonate ones, mostly because… ADHD. If I can see the fruits and veggies I prepped, I’m WAY more likely to eat them. If they’re hidden in opaque containers? They may as well not even exist. Having everything visible and ready to sprinkle onto a salad has made my snack and meal choices better. These are standard 1/6-size hotel pans, just in polycarbonate instead of metal. That means they’re commercial-style. They’re the kind you see in prep tables and salad bars. They’re sturdy, clear, and feel tougher than your typical home kitchen containers. Polycarbonate is also way more durable than the average crappy food container. These can handle freezer temps no problem, and they’re rated for hot foods up to around 210°F. I wouldn’t pour boiling water into them or throw them in the oven or dishwasher, obviously, but for cooling roasted veggies, holding warm taco meat for a taco assembly station on Taco Tuesday, marinating or brining meats, soy sauce eggs, or beans (yes, if you haven't brined your beans you're missing out), batch prep, cold ferment stuff... they’re great. I could go on and on about them. They stack nicely too, and the slight frosted texture on parts of them actually helps with grip and hides scratches. They’re also perfect for mise en place if you, like me, sometimes pretend you’re on a cooking show. The only small annoyance: the listing says the lids fit tightly. These lids do NOT snap or seal. They sit on top, like typical commercial hotel pan lids do, but they are NOT airtight or anything. That said, when we went to a restaurant supply store a few weeks ago, the polycarbonate pans there were the same way. If airtight matters to you, you can buy separate lids with gaskets. These seem like they're standard hotel pans, so they should fit. Don't quote me on that, though. Honestly though? These have kind of transformed how I cook. I feel more organized. I waste less food. I make healthier choices. And they kind of look really good in the fridge. Sort of inviting, you know? It's like my sliced apples, carrots, and cucumber are saying "eat me" every time I open the fridge.

These are amazing for weekly food prep! They are made of a nice, sturdy plastic. For the past month, I have been taking one hour a week to boil half a dozen eggs, slice 2-3 apples and half a melon, clean 3-4 servings of carrots and berries, and keep each of these bundles in one of these containers to conveniently snack on at any time. These are particularly helpful for cleaning and storing fresh produce; I hate cleaning berries in the gross, thin, containers with all the holes. Now I can just dump everything in one of these, give them a couple of rinses, and I am good to go! The only precautions I have are that the indent from the lids takes up more space than I thought; without the lid, I can keep 8-9 eggs in one container; with the lid, the number goes down to 6. Additionally, the lid seal does not feel firm. Nothing significant will be able to get in or out of the container in every day use, but the lack of a firm seal leans me to avoid using it for things that tend to be more sensitive to time or air (e.g. marinating meat, macerating fruit). Overall, these are a great way to save some time and make healthier eating and snacking that much easier.

This 6-Pack of Food Pans with Lids is perfect for food preparation and storage! I’m impressed by how durable and shatterproof they are—which I conformed the hard way by dropping one. I also like that they stack easily for more compactly storage. They seem very well made, and even after repeated use remain scratch resistant too. They are also great for use across a variety of temperatures, from freezer storage, to refrigeration of prep items, to serving warm and hot items as well. The lids are not 100% airtight, but they do seal well and keep items fresh. I also like that they are available in different sizes too. Overall, this set is a good value for 6 relatively large, durable, temperature resistant, well made food preparation and storage and storage pans!

These are nicely made plastic storage containers with one drawback for me; the lids just rest on the top of the container and do not seal tight, meaning they are not air tight and I would not use them for storage of anything liquid. I do like the handle at the top which makes it easy to grasp the lid when taking it on/off. The plastic seems to be of good quality and should be somewhat impact-resistant, although I am not willing to drop one on purpose to test that out. They do stack nicely if you need to do that, I like that they are the perfect size for fitting in my refrigerator shelves and being see through I do not have to label the container or pull it out and open it to see the contents. For value I would say there are better options out there that are a better price per unit. I would rate higher if it was a better value and if the lids sealed tight.

I used these for the first time at a Super Bowl party, and they worked out really well. It was nice to be able to prep items, put them in the pans, keep them in the fridge until needed, and then just put the pans out for serving. In the past I have had to cover bowls with plastic wrap (which I hate to do), and more often than not transfer items to another bowl for serving, so these are a nice upgrade. They'll get a lot of use around here, this summer!

The pans themselves are great and feel like sturdy, clear and frosted plastic. However, I did see one pan have a speck of something that I originally thought was some debris that turned out to be actually inside the plastic itself. In any case, the pans are perfectly sized for prepping a decent amount of different food. I used it recently to store sliced tomatoes, lettuce, onion and other stuff for people to build their own burgers. The lids essentially rests on the pans, so not sealed tightly. The middle section also goes downwards to allow for fingers to grab it, but as a result also takes up real estate inside the pan, so it cannot be filled the brim unless the lid is not used. All the parts are easy to clean. The insides are smooth enough that nothing really clings on it.
