I originally bought this set of 6 lights for my garage on the house to replace some old florescent lights. These are kind of small and don't take up much room even though they are four feet long but they are bright and work great. This set came a day earlier than expected. After putting them up I was so happy with them I bought a second of six to put up in my shop to replace some old florescent lights over there. All were used individually and this was about the only set that had enough plug in wires. Most are designed to hook two or more together and you can do that with these also if needed. I bought these because my garage is terribly wired and I only have two 15 amp outlets one on the ceiling the other on the back wall. My garage is a gym and I painted it OD green because why not, but it's dark so I needed to add some light. I don't like messing w/electrical so I bought these off a recommendation from basement Brandon (highly recommend his content on YT). They are bright and were super easy to install, literally plug and play. They come with connectors which make it easy to create cool designs on the ceiling and I just plugged them into one of those Christmas light step on pedals for easy on/off capability, I just push the button and there is light, so I can leave them plugged in considering they are on the ceiling. ... show more

Value for the money, I have to give them a thumbs up. I have four different racks of aquariums, I use these lights to illuminate all of them. Most of the racks the lamps are done all in line and have not had a problem with any of them especially being around water. They have easy connections between two lamps if you want to connect them directly to one another, or small harnesses where you can adjust the length between the lamps. I like pretty much every facet of them with the one exception of the little metal spring clips they supply if you are going to screw the lamps into a board or wall the clips are weak bend or stretch very easily which is the only problem I have had with one of my aquariums with a wooden canopy. Had lots of problems with the clips and the lamps wanting to fall. I believe they are low voltage? And hopefully it won't hurt my fish should a lamp get dropped into a tank, that is the only fault I have found. I've done multiple orders of these lamps and all out of box we're working easy to install and connect great color profile from the lamps I like the cold white as compared to the warm color spectrum. They make my fish look beautiful and have not had a problem growing any of my aquatic plants as well with these lamps. Great product for the money. Try to find something like this as a big box store and you'll pay three to five times as much. Actually getting ready to order another box for my fish room and a box for my garage. ... show more

Back in year 2020 I purchased strip lights made by Freelicht for my garage. Since they have preformed so well, I went back into my order history to order them again, this time for my basement. Unfortunately they are no longer available. Now August 2023, these lights were recommended as a replacement. They are physically and functionally very similar to my previous purchase. A direct replacement in every way. So much so that I believe them to be made by the same manufacturer. Some reviewers are reporting failure within 2 years. However, my originals are 3 years old now and going strong. Fingers crossed this version of a very similar light performs with the same reliability. Being reasonably priced and so very easy to install, I believe them worth the 5% failure risk others have reported. Some perspective.. Every LED fixture I’ve read reviews on has reported premature failures. It’s hard to compare because there are so many power quality and environmental variables. I can’t verify this statement but…. I did read in one manufacturer install guide that LED lights need to be broken in slowly. Meaning a new install should be lite for 1 to 4 hours, then allowed to cool down completely before using the lights normally thereafter. I have no reason for this recommendation but did follow it on my garage light install and now my basement. ... show more

Very simple setup for installation. After you decide where the lights are going to be placed, it takes minutes to set up. Very pleased with the quality of the lighting as well. Additionally, plenty of wiring provided to either set up continously, intermediate or separately. Love that each power cord has its own toggle as well. I put two lights in my work area in my basement and four in the garage. Almost immediately, I ordered another set of six lights to give to my son for his garage. The lights and mounts are great, but the screws are very cheap and the Phillips heads strip out even drilling into very soft pine. I got my own wood screws and got them mounted. I am still very happy with them regardless of the cheap screws. I love the lights and brightness. The many ways you have to mount them singly or in a row is great. ... show more
