These lights are awesome. Priced right. I put 6 of these in a 24x30 garage and they supplied plenty of light. My customer loved them. The only thing is the wires are very small and they aren't stripped back enough. Be careful stripping them, I'd recommend a regular wore stripper. The little orange wire caps worked great with 14-2 wg wire. The mounting plate for this is great! I wish other manufacturers would build lights like these. I replaced the hideous 80s equivalent unit in a basement bedroom and I couldn’t be happier for the price. Not only is there much more light but it’s more energy efficient and being led the panel is very slim and looks good on the ceiling. I was originally planning on a Lowe’s replacement but for twice the price and likely the same or worse quality I opted for this. Screw holes lines right up to the box already installed in the ceiling and wired in no problem, I don’t recommend the included wire nuts as I noticed the ones I already had on hand were much better quality. ... show more

I bought 2 sets of 2 of these and each are great. High Lumens and nearly flat fixture. More color (K value) choices via switch than others so nice variety to evaluate and select. Only improvement area would be to have the 3 wires stripped so as to have a longer 'bare' portion. The diameter of the insulated wires is slightly smaller than most wire strippers and the length of the bare part is shorter than needed to make a good connection. So taking a little more off with a knife is needed. Easy to do, just could be avoided if the length of the stripped portion was longer. (3 do do since the ground wire is insulated also.) I would not let that be a show stopper however. Very happy with the lights. ... show more
