This is the perfect farmhouse chandelier. The wood accents add to the farmhouse charm. It came well wrapped and boxed. There were no blemishes or dents. We replaced an old ceiling fan with this light and it looks so good. I was hesitant to purchase with no reviews but I am so happy that I did.

My review is for the 8 Light nickel and crystal chandelier. This is a beautiful light. The pictures don't do it justice. This chandelier is made of brushed nickel and is all metal, no plastic. The piece that emulates what would be a candle cup is a clear, smooth crystal disk. This light works well with my modern, more contemporary style. I think it's fairly style neutral and will work with most styles based on the light bulbs you use. It does not come with bulbs. It uses E12 bulbs up to a max of 60W. It's dimmable if use dimmable bulbs and have a dimmer switch. To look more contemporary, I used a round bulb. I'm using it over the kitchen island. It adds a nice touch of elegance. The chandelier has enough presence to work well in any location. It hangs from a chain you can adjust to the height you need. It has 2 sections of chain you can use together or separately (37 inch max), plus the length of the light fixture. The light itself is almost two feet long/high without the chain and a little over 27 inches wide. Like everything else you order online, you need to assemble it. It went together easily, without any drama or swearing. The instructions are accurate, and the installation was straightforward. I love the way it looks during the day and at night. Ordered this to put as a new light fixture in our dining room - and my only regret is that we didn't order this sooner - it's beautiful!! So much better looking in person than in photos. It's a beautiful design and style - looks rustic without being overly so...the wood and black coordinates nicely, and it gives the room a whole new, open look. It lights up the room so nicely! It was very easy to install - comes with great instructions. There is assembly required but it's not difficult at all to do. We absolutely love everything about this fixture - again, the pictures in the listing are great and what it really looks like...except it looks a thousand times better. I love everything about this light! To be specific, I love the color, style, and the finishing. I also love the fact that unlike most lights, it works with 8 bulbs, which means ample light in my 400 square feet room. The style is modern just like the rest of my decor. I do find the size very reasonable (not too big nor too small). The assembly took a few minutes just because it was in small pieces for shipping. The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love that it was made with real wood! I am going to lightly sand it, and then staying at a dark walnut so that it will coordinate with my cabinets in my dining area/kitchen. It is great as it is however, if you wanna tweak it for a custom lock that is totally possible as it is real wood, hope this helps you decide if this is what you want/need! It is good quality and I definitely recommend it just open it up outside where all the Styrofoam is easier to clean up. ;-) ... show more
