I love this light. My husband installed it and it was no harder to install than any other light. Its clean lines give minimalist vibes, but it still feels classic and elegant. We bought the GE tapered soft white LED bulbs (says they "replace 60 watt"), and they give a LOT of light, but not the glaring overbright blue-white that makes me nauseous. The chandelier looks nice and comes almost assembled, but it took forever to install! If your light box is not completely flush with the ceiling, and I mean completely- not even a millimeter off, then the screws will not be long enough. Everything has to perfectly line up. The mounting plate was slightly bent, so that also caused an issue. We found this out the hard way, and finally realized we needed to disassemble the mounting plate, pound it completely flat, and sub in longer screws. Majority of the reviews mentioned super easy to install, but if everything isn’t perfect, you are going to have some obstacles. It does look nice and sleek when finally installed. ... show more

We are remodeling so we didn’t use it right away but yesterday an electrician hooked it up. I didn’t buy the double layer one just the single layers of six lights. A very, simple design Yet very elegant. The only thing I did was, I added an additional ring at the top Because I’ll fixtures come with a much smaller piece which would make it look maybe cheap so I added that and it really enhanced it. I took a picture so you could see the ceiling ring however I only put three lights in because of the wrong ones. I need to go buy some lights for it. ... show more
