Recently I installed an outdoor curtain for my porch. It has a tendency to blow around in the wind, and I needed to weigh it down somehow. I saw a video tip about using a chain for this purpose. I needed one that was heavy enough to do the trick, would not rust, and would fit inside the curtain’s hem. This Syocsek 6 Feet Chain 1/8 Inch Thick is just right for the task. It’s very well made and has a nice heft to it, and it fit inside the hem. It was a little wider than the curtain, so I just doubled it up at one end and tacked it in place with a couple stitches. On the other end, I used one of the included carabiners to attach it to a hook on the side of the house. It looks and works great, and the curtain doesn’t blow up and out anymore. It’s also a good value, better than what I was able to find in local hardware stores. Very glad I ordered it.

Why would I order a chain off amazon when I could it at the local hardware store… because I can. And it’s less costs than local which doesn’t make sense. It’s a strong well made chain and works perfectly for what I need it for which is to hang strings of small plants and yard decor.

As far as quality, the links are a nice, thick steel and welded shut, so presentation is very nice. However, practically, this makes it very difficult to adjust this chain easily. I'm going to have to break out the ole hacksaw in order to cut the chain down to the size I need.

Decent deal for $6.99. Each link is soldered shut so you’ll need a metal cutter if you want to shorten the length. I plan to use it to hang my bird feeder. Since it’s metal, the squirrels will have a difficult time biting through it. LOL

I got this chain for my mom. She was hanging a lot of cute birdhouses from her house and needed to be able to add some length so they weren't to high. I was able to cut this chain to the perfect lengths so she was able to hang all of them. The chain is sturdy and easy to use.

I ordered this to lock a gate to keep it shut because the latch mechanism wasn't reliable. For that purpose it works great. It seems like a sturdy chain (good stainless steel) that could support a good amount of weight (like for a light fixture).
