I bought these to use as fence posts for 8ft netting, to keep the deer out of my garden areas. They worked absolutely perfect for this. Each pole is quite tall, which I needed for the fence material. At the top of each pole is a little \_/ to hang lights, cords, or whatever you need. They are quite sturdy, and have been holding up well now for well over a year, almost 2 years actually. They are painting black, and none have chipped or rusted out there in the weather. Installing them is just like installing a “Shepard Hook” with 5 little spikes at the bottom that you just step on to bury they look nice as well, easily blending in with the surroundings. They could easily support a substantial amount of weight, but the fence I used is pretty light. It has done its job of keeping those pesky deer 🦌 off of my property. I will be buying more in the future as I expand my garden amd landscaping areas. I think they are fairly priced for what you get. I recommend this product, and give it 5 stars! I will try to include a video at a later date, when I revise my reviews. I hope my review helped you. 😊

This 4 pack of 10 ft light poles is superior to other brands that I have purchased. Easy to assemble, good and sturdy. The poles are fairly thick and are stable. there is a fixed push in stabilizer and a loose stabilizer push in foot spike which makes it easier to use. Wish they cost a little less but seem to be worth the extra $ as they will last a long time.

If Amazon's rating system allowed for 1/2 stars I would rate this product 3 1/2 stars, but I gave some benefit of the doubt and bumped up 1/2 star rather than down 1/2 star. Here's my lowdown: Poles are packaged in one box that consists of all the poles disassembled in sections. If I remember correctly each pole consists of five black aluminum sections in total and screw into each other to assemble. Each pole is a hollow metal tube about 1" in diameter. The top section is the claw shape that holds your string lights. The bottom section contains the tines that get driven into the ground. The tines, when buried do a good job of holding the pole in place. Now the concerning reviews about the poles being too tall and bending when stringing the lights are true. The poles when fully assembled measure ~10ft. and when put in place, hold themselves straight. But when you start stringing the lights, the poles start to lean from their center points due to the tension of the lights. I used standard patio string lights from Costco and this is mostly evident at my corner poles when stringing in a box pattern. You might be able to get less leaning if the poles are spaced less than 10ft from each other. At 15ft, you see the problem. I reduced the amount of lean by putting guylines on my corner poles, but this is not ideal. The tines used to hold the poles are a cool design where a set of stationary tines get stuck into the ground first. Then the second set of tines spin and slide along the bottom section shaft. Once the stationary tines are buried, you can rotate the second set into position, then drive those into the ground. I have seen reviews describing how the stationary tines sometimes break their welds when putting into the ground and I can see how that could happen. If you use a rubber mallet and patiently tap each stationary tine in little by little, that will go a long way to protecting from breakage. Then once the stationary tines are driven in grab the sliding tines, position them where you want left, slide up the assembly to get momentum and the drive them straight down into the ground. My ground was soft enough that I was able to do this by hand. Then with the rubber mallet finish tapping in all the tines so they are flush with your ground. It should probably take about 10mins to carefully assemble and drive in a pole, pending no cross threading on the pole parts and no dealing with rock hard ground. For the price, these poles perform as expected. I needed a non-permanent, seasonal solution for hanging patio lights and these did the job. It also helped me to get a visual of what I want when I get around to a more permanent solution (4x4 posts, lights ~12-15ft high). Now for solutions where the posts will be bracketed to something permanent, like a fence or a deck rail, this may be a great solution. Because these posts are built in sections, one can easily remove a few sections- shortening the pole but also making it more sturdy and less likely to lean. For temporary situations where the plan is to put up and breakdown the setup-like at a campground- these poles should be able to serve that purpose.

I bought these posts to decorate my backyard and they exceeded my expectations. They're made of sturdy metal and are easy to install. The hooks at the top are easily accessible for hanging lights; and not just lights, I was able to add small hooks there to hang curtains and make the decoration even nicer. I'll definitely buy another pair to illuminate my front porch.

I love the idea and I love the height of these being 10 ft. They are lightweight but probably too lightweight for their height and supporting string lights. The challenge is that gauge of the metal cannot with sand the weight of the string lights. I had to zip tie all of my poles to my bushes to keep them straight. Had the metal been heavier gauge I think it would not have bent as easily but it looks great in my backyard. They are however easy to assemble and Spike at Four Points into the ground that makes them easily movable

I was worried they wouldn’t hold up a string of lights well since the bottom tines aren’t very long but they work well. Easy to get in the ground and back out for winter. I needed one pole on the patio so I placed it in a large planter and it worked quite well. The poles come in sections so they don’t all have to be the same length. Used the all summer and no signs of rust.
