  • High Quality Boot
Size: 8.5
Excellent and high quality pair of boots. They are heavy, but that to me is a sign of quality. They break in fairly easily, but it still may be 1-2 weeks of use. They are definitely comfortable in a 1/2 size down. They are a bit on the narrow side and the toe box area isn’t as big height wise as some other boots like Thorogoods. I hope to get these or Thorogood Moc Toes again as my next boots. ... show more

  • Awesome boots!
Size: 9
Beautiful made in the USA boots. Went a 1/2 size smaller, fit great. Shame for this price point they ship them with shoelaces that are too short.

  • Red Wing Heritage Classic 1907 Copper Rough and Tough
Size: 10
I now own two pairs of Red Wings, my 877's that I've had for 5 years and resoled once, and now this pair of 1907's. I can't say enough great things about them! I have been in construction for over 20 years and owned many pairs of boots, but Red Wing has been far and away the best pair of boots I've ever owned. They do take some time to break-in, but it's more than worth the wait! Now on to just the 1907... They come with two set's of laces, leather and cord, which I think is very nice. Also, they already have nice removable insoles. The finish is an awesome "worn" look, but the leather is still brand new. I bought them because I wanted a pair of Red Wings for my off time, meaning more for fashion rather then for work. I love the fact that I own boots that I could still be wearing 20 years from now, and that they only look and feel better with age. I own a pair of Dickies that I bought when I sent my 877's in to be resoled, I spent $87 bucks on them and I don't think they are worth 30, and the whole time I couldn't wait to get my Red Wings back because of the junk quality of the Dickies. In a day and age when we buy so much junk made in China, it's so nice to own boots made by people who care and take pride in their workmanship rather then some sweatshop crap made in China. I'm proud to work in an industry that builds America, so it's only fitting to wear boots built by Americans. ... show more

  • Frickin' Awesome Work Boots
Size: 9
I'm a general contractor. On my feet all day in rough terrain, on concrete, climbing ladders, crawling on my knees. I abuse the hell out of them. These boots flat out rock. Not only are they beautiful, that are rugged and comfortable (once they are properly broken in.) If you are a working person and need hard-wearing boots for real work, skip the popular 875s and upgrade to these sweet 1907s. I still love my Thoroughgoods and always will... but these are a notch above for the really hard work. With a resole or two and periodic oiling, I'm certain they will only get better with age and will probably last me ten years or more. Well worth the money. ...And, if you keep 'em cleaned up, you can meet your wife out for dinner still wearing these bad boys. They are American classics! ... show more

  • Still uncomfortable after five months of "breaking in"
Size: 8.5
These boots looked awesome when I pulled them out of the box, but then I put my foot in... Immediately I felt unnatural lumps on the lateral half of the insoles before I even took the first step. It was almost like the arches were on the wrong feet. Since the soles of these boots are extremely stiff I thought that I just needed to wear them in. After wearing them at least three times a week for five months, they have not improved at all - still extremely stiff and the insoles are still lumpy and uncomfortable. Now I'm stuck with a $250 pair of boots. If you order these and they are uncomfortable when you first put them on, send them back! DO NOT try to wear them in. Size, and color is on point. ... show more

  • Heritage work boot
Size: 10
Amazing craftsmanship from a great American boot maker. If you want “tennis shoe comfort” right out of the box, look elsewhere. But if you want an amazing, heritage built work boot that lasts a lifetime and will just be breaking in when those “tennis shoe work boots” are ready for the dumpster…this is your boot. I sized down 1/2 size from my running shoes for a perfect fit. ... show more
