This mattress is very comfortable, with a firm base and soft top. It feels soft and squishy to the hands when pressing down on it, yet is surprisingly firm when sitting or lying on it; very supportive while being comfy. I sleep longer and more deeply on this mattress than I did on my expensive coil type of mattress. I've detected no odor from this mattress. I knocked off a star due to the non-uniformity of the height. It is 10" high only in the center areas of each side, becoming a bit shorter near the corners; and only 8" high at the corners. I suspect that this is due to the ends of the mattress having been much more compressed/flattened so that they don't recover the original height. With a comforter or quilt on it this size discrepancy is not noticeable

My son doesn’t like sleeping alone, so sometimes I lay down with him until he does fall asleep. It’s so easy to get up from the bed without any noise as I’m sneaking away to my room. It’s firm yet soft, when we got the package it had no smell to it. No stains or any damage to the product it self. I’m definitely going to buy a bigger size for our guest room.

I really do love this mattress! Don't be one of 'those people' and not let the darn thing fluff for 72hrs... I DID INDEED leave it it to fluff for the advised time and my mattress came out 12 inches tall as promised and going strong. It was a bit firmer than expected but I found after 2 nights on it I adjusted just fine and i now sleep like I'm in a coma. Which was the goal so pretty happy. I will say that if you are one of those people who get mega hot while they sleep - the "cooling" aspect of this mattress is pretty much nonexistent lol I get very hot and by morning I'm practically naked. 😜 but the mattress is 100% worth the money. Even adding a cooling pad this mattress is still going to be cheaper than a box store mattress!

This is an excellent mattress for the price and for all the good qualities that come with this mattress. For the last 20 years I have slept on tempur-pedic mattresses. My last tempur-pedic mattress was like sleeping on heaven. It was very comfortable for me. When it was time to purchase a new mattress I thought I would try this one from Gaeste. Unlike the horrible smell a new tempur-pedic has this one barely had any smell to it. I was not able to just let the mattress lay out for 3 days like recommended by the Gaeste Company while it took on its full shape. I had nowhere to lay it out and I had no other mattress to sleep on so I did sleep on this mattress the first night and it was hard as rock. I thought what did I get myself into? The second night it got better and by the third night it was like sleeping on my tempur-pedic. You can barely tell the difference. The price that you would pay for a new tempur-pedic is close to 5 thousand dollars or more. I highly recommend this mattress. I purchased a 10" Queen size. Thank you Gaeste mattresses!
