First of all, this is a great safe. Not too heavy, extremely sturdy and innovative. The digital combination lock adds to a premium experience with the safe. There is a key to initially open the safe and to use in the event of dead batteries. There is also a backup battery that allows you to power and operate the keypad if the internal battery is dead. I took one star off because we had to get a second safe to actually use it. The first one refused to open with the included key, so we had to get a second. Not the most comforting feeling, but the replacement worked properly.

This bad boy is my best friend right now. I share my office space with nosy roommates. I have some private and important information in my office and I constantly have to hide my stuff. I got this safe to deter peeking and theft lol. This safe is heavy and solid, but not so much that you can't pick it up and move it. It's small and conveniently fits under my desk. I was able to set the code fairly easily, and I put all of my valuables inside no problem. The lock is secure, so there's no chance you're getting in there. Thanks to my buddy here, my stuff is safe now. I definitely recommend that you get yourself one. 5/5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. Size is perfect but the mechanics are cheap. We just opened it brand new, put batteries in, set the code, shut it and then nothing! Only opens with key. Will most likely be sending it back.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday. He was not impressed. He wanted something somewhat fireproof and he says the walls of the safe are too thin and would heat up like a frying pan. Also, the key box and slide covers would melt as they are made of plastic. We live in an area of forest fires and we do not feel this would at least be resistant for any length of time. Lastly, the directions could be a little bit more clear in the visual diagram of where the set button is....
