The batteries are a lot lighter than the original. You should charge both and keep them rotating if you’re working on a bigger job. I have an old black and decker cordless drill I had over 15 years now. The battery fits but not as tightly as the original did. It did not hold a full charge as long either. This is ok for now, but I', putting new cordless drill on my Christmas list.
