UPDATE: 30 days later, It laid flat. As described, but poorly packaged (1) so that the rug had hard creases in it (2). I won't take the time to try, but a warm iron may help with that and that is the one star reduction. It is thin (3) and has a well populated soft 'pile' if you can call 1/8" that (4)! It IS a nice rug (5) and for a small -5x7- size, you'd expect it to slide, but it (almost not at all) doesn't due to a rubberized coating on the underside (6). It is exactly what I needed to cover speaker wires across the floor, and for the money, certainly a good deal. Would I buy again/recommend? Yes - if you you want a rug that looks good for low cost. ... show more

This is a pretty decent rug, especially for the $27 I paid for it-this is the 5×7'. It has a rubbery texture on the bottom and the feel of the carpet is like microfiber. It's a thin carpet but feels durable. Stick it in the dryer for like 30min to remove any creases.
