Purchased this as backup for brand I have on auto/subscription order but was o/s at the time—comes in large sturdy clear ziplock bag, which at first was a disappointment for me (as my reg brand comes double-sealed: product in ziplock placed in sturdy cardbd bx); however, it was all well packed, w/same freshness & I’ve been able to divide up into smaller containers, & overall very plsed w/how the chickens continue to love these treats, showing no signs of preference in the product. This product is a great supplement for your chickens. I've been using it for quite a while now. My check-ins are laying regular and the shells are nice and hard. I did not see any slowdown all winter long when I supplement their food with this product.

I am changing my previous review because I had stated these mealworms were not good for the bluebirds. They wouldn’t eat them. Now after a month of mixing them in with a previous brand, they are eating them. I purchased this product because I had many starlings eating mealworms that I had purchased from a different vendor and the bluebirds were not getting very much so I decided to purchase this large bag.
