This is a basic step-up adapter: aluminum, standard thickness (pretty thin), okay machining, no knurling/grip. It's comparable to other basic adapters. Some actually are not cool because of significant machining issues, but this one seems alright in that regard. It comes with two lens cleaning cloths, but I don't think anyone decides based on that. I mean, they're sort of chamois-like with their texture and feel, but I worry about (re)using non-disposable lens cleaning cloths on my fancy lenses. Anyway, this step-up adapter will live on one of my lens filters I'm only occasionally using, and the adapter does the job fine.

This is a handy ring to be able to use different filters or lens adapter on the front of the lens. I used it to put an Olympus 1.7x teleconverter with a 55mm mount onto a Lumix 45-175 lens that has a 46mm front. Worked like a charm.

Used on LX 100 camera, built in lens. Wanted to use a set of three diopters, all 40.5 mm thread. Stepping down, the fear is always vignetting. Widest angle, 24mm on this, camera, happy to report No Vignetting. Happy to be able to use these +1, +2, +3 diopters after their forced state of idleness for many decades.
