The Legacy Heating Rectangular Fire Pit Table with Cover is a versatile piece of patio furniture that you'll find yourself using all year round. The table frame is built from sturdy extruded aluminum, protected from the elements by an hammered black finish and designed with extruded aluminum bar look. A standard 20-lb. liquid propane tank (stored inside the table; tank not included)is all you need to produce up to 50,000 BTUs of warmth from the stainless-steel burner. A bag of clear fire glass is included to help conceal the burner and a matching extruded aluminum lid lets you use the surface as a table during warmer months. This table is great, especially for the price!! Assembly was very easy, and shipment was fast. It puts off great heat and is very pretty. If you don’t like super shiny, this may not be for you. The hammered metal is quite shiny, but I like it, and it is very durable. I already dropped a heavy metal tool on it by accident and not a scratch or dent. I wish I knew how to add more than one photo so I could illustrate the original table, as well as the cover. The first table I got was bent upward on the top. The metal was so solid that there was no way to bend it back into place. Getting a replacement was super easy though, and arrived two days later. The replacement was in perfect condition. Because of the ease of replacement, I wouldn’t subtract anything for that. The cover that they offer is funny. Please, plan on providing your own cover. It is made of plastic that is not much stronger than a grocery bag. It is also made for a table about half the size of this one. This is why I wish I could add a photo...it is so funny. I was able to (barely) just cover the top, luckily, since I didn’t have another cover and we got rain for a few days straight. I got material to make my own, but you will definitely want to plan to get a cover because it really does need one to protect the fire elements. Again, not enough to subtract any stars since I didn’t expect much from the included cover at this price point. In case you want to order, and then get started on making a cover, the measurements are as follows...top is 56 12/16”x20 14/16”. Height of table is 24 1/4”. I also love that it comes with a matching, metal cover for the fire pit area. When the table is off, and cooled, we can put the cover on and use it as a regular, full table. Our neighbor has a similar table, but without a cover and she finds it difficult to use as anything other than a fire table. This one is a regular coffee table by day. Bottom line is, it is a great table for the price, and I would recommend it.

The last fire table we purchased matches our wicker set from Big Lots. The top on that started to crumble and the fire wouldn't stay lit. But enough about the old table and let me rave about the new one. It was super simple to put together, it's long and thin which is perfect for my space, and it's just very elegant and contemporary. It looks so beautiful with our wicker set. I would highly recommend purchasing this fire pit. It's very sturdy and it gives off a beautiful fire. We've been wanting to replace our old one and we finally found the perfect replacement!

This is a well-built fire pit IMO. We had previously bought a cheap-o one at BB&B, and within a year it was rotted through. The metal feels much tougher on this, and the paint job feels better. The bolts screw into what look like brass t-nuts. It all feels very solid, and there are adjustable feet to level it. The fire glass that came with it almost looks like water when the flames are licking off the stones. Very nice effect. We bought this on sale for $350, and for what we got, it was worth the money. It puts out a bit of light and heat on high, and on low it adds a nice effect on our deck. Some notes about the assembly of this. I messed up on the install, because I put the tank shelf in upside down. There is a real tight clearance for your propane tank, so it needs to be installed properly or it won't fit. Luckily, I discovered this before filling the tray with the fire glass, so it was an easy fix. The second issue was the "air box" that surrounds the igniter. The top was bent up a little too high and the fire glass got inside that little box. The instructions say not to cover it (and I assume not to fill it). So we dug out the pieces that got inside, and bent the cover down more and it works great. And finally, I had a slight issue getting the valve to screw onto my propane tank. It takes a little pressure to get it seated right, and then it screws on fine. We took a chance on this, and it paid off. Hope this review helps.

The media could not be loaded. Delivered to the front door a day early. Light enough to easily move to the back patio on a hand cart myself...I am 71 years old. Easy to assemble using the provided instructions (mostly pictures). 12 Allen bolts 4 hex bolts. Allen wrench and open end wrench included. Connected my 5 gallon propane tank. Checked for leaks with soapy water. No leaks. Put in the included 1.5 volt battery for the ignitor. Total assembly time was about an hour and half...and I usually take twice as long as most people say they take (I don't believe 'em). Fired up right away. Set the dial to around medium. The heater put out plenty of heat. I could feel a warm glow on my face while sitting in a chair about 4 feet away from the 5 to 8 inch high flames. Definitely not so hot that I am concerned about setting my 8 foot patio ceiling abl aze. The heater seems to be reasonably solid structurally (square aluminum tubing) and in appearance. I am a very happy camper. Grabbed a beer and enjoyed the Arizona fall evening. Update: I have had the heater for almost 3 weeks. Still working fantastically! I have been using it every night. No issues. 5 gallon propane tank lasts from 12 to 15 hours depending on setting. I usually have it on medium. I found that the lid should not be left on during use. It is designed only as a protective cover. It discolored and distorted under high heat. My bad. I am very happy with the heater.
