When it first arrived I was very happy with the over all look and you could tell it was well built but after mounting it and finally getting it out to zero it realized the brightness setting was not very bright even when turned up all the way in daylight and the left to right windage screw was not very tight which makes me believe it won't be able to hold a zero but the up down was tight the retical was not the same as it shows and I did mount it on AR 12 shot buckshot and it came lose the worse thing is that I realized the package and product has EOtech in them confusion ... show more

That’s right I said what I said… it holds zero. Now truth be told this is on my CQB 7.5 300 blackout. I’m using this on shots that are 25 yards max… with most being in the seven to 15 range, but it works holds zero and easy to grab the locate the dot. I paired this with a hydra Mount which I got off Amazon and it just rocks ... show more

clear glass, sharp images, red/green dot crisp at lower brightness levels, firm attachment. Came with a dead battery, but that is minor. Definitely would (and have) buy again.

    • No brightness settings. It can be a bit dull in the sunlight
If there was a way to enhance the brightness then maybe it would really be worth it. Nevertheless, it is much cheaper than most red dots

I expected a knock off of an Eotech; what I received was an actual Eotech 556 in it's armored case with a rechargeable battery and the protector. I was pleasantly surprised and for less than $60. Definitely worth buying.

    • Will not hold zero with prolonged use.
This is a replica. It looks almost identical to a real Eotech. I've used it on Airsoft and it's awesome. I've used it on air rifles and it's awesome. I've used it on a .22lr AR and it's awesome. I do not recommend it for 9mm PCC or 223/556 or any larger calibers. It will not hold zero. It can be difficult to zero and be careful to go over or you'll bend the screws. ... show more
