  • Good quality for price
Size: 4 MOA Style: Classic
This is a steal for the price. It feels solid and heavy, with no plastic components. The light is bright and it mounts easily to picatinny rails. It can also be tuned accurately.

  • Nicely built and fit just right
Size: 4 MOA Style: Classic
Great price, Great fit, easy to use, easy mount, looks great and seems to be very durable. We will find out if it stays on 0. But it feels like It is made well not a plastic light toy.

  • No red dot.
Size: 4 MOA Style: Classic
It seems a good quality except for the red dot, when I set it to any red dot setting it just turns off, otherwise it works fine, I was never planning to use the red dot so it works fine for my purposes.

  • Shockingly good quality for the price
Size: 4 MOA Style: Classic
I was skeptical of an optic for less than $20 being even a little useful, but I am so glad to have been proven wrong. I bought two sights to try, this and the Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 (~$40). The Pinty blows the Bushnell out of the water, and I really can't believe how it's possible to be that much better for less than half the price. This sight has a surprisingly large viewing window, and there's no distortion around the circumference (looking at you, TRS-25). It's easy to co-witness with iron sights or a magnifier, and due to the size of the tube, it has a great range of viewable angles. The quality of the dot itself was also surprisingly good. I expected a lot of fuzzing even at lower illumination levels, but both red and green dots were very tight with no fuzzing except at the brightest setting for each if not in a bright environment. The tube extends past the lens just far enough to block out a lot of glare even on bright sunny days. Maybe its durability will be where it falls short of more expensive optics like the TRS-25, but so far I've had no issues or concerns with it, and for $16, if it makes it even a year or two before breaking I won't be too disappointed. ... show more

  • Nice optic- bad mount. And the price is way too low!
Size: 4 MOA Style: Classic
I like the red AND green dot. Very visible.easy to see. I also liked how precise the adjustments were , after three shots I was hitting center of crosshairs EVERY time. And the price is unreal. I’d give this ring 5 stars but there’s no way this fits a grooved receiver on my Ruger 10-22 or my high end pellet rifle. The thing is mounted now after several attempts but it’s wonky & I don’t think it will stay on if I bump it. I hope yours fits better. That said I’ll probably buy another I bet and ask my gunsmith buddy to have at it. He might have some adapters laying around ... show more

  • Great red dot for the price
Size: 4 MOA Style: Classic
After purchasing a few Sig Romeo 5's (which I highly recommend if you can afford) I wanted to give a cheaper in price red dot a try for general plinking and pest control with my 10/22. I am very pleased with this sight and glad I purchased it. Installation was a breeze and is very secure on my picatinny rail. The red or green dot choice is nice if you need to contrast against a target. I like the brightness contrast between the smallest dot and brightest but wish there was just one more dimmer and smaller dot for dark conditions. Plenty bright for day shooting. Easy to adjust, windage was dead on out of the box, just had to go about 30 clicks up for elevation on my rifle to hit dead on at 20 yards. I did not try any precision shooting but this sight was easily minute of pop can at 20 yards, plenty good for plinking and pests. I would recommend this sight to anyone on a budget or you just want to save money and buy more ammo then this is a sight for you. ... show more

  • Completely surprised at how good it is.
Size: 4 MOA Style: Classic
I was searching for a red dot that I could use on an AR-15. I had a very meager budget for this build so I wanted the best I could get for the $$. Something good, clear, and we'll see how reliable it is. I used a laser I had previously sighted in to sight in this sight. Took it out yesterday and put 120 rounds through it and it stayed dead on at about 40 yards. I haven't tried it farther out yet. The lowest power settings give a nice crisp dot that was perfectly visible in bright daylight. (especially the green) As you increase the brightness settings the dot gets a little bit more of a star effect but is still quite usable. My brother had a Bushnell TR25 on his and while his was a slightly crisper dot, this one was clearer and had a larger objective lens which allows for better sight picture, was easier to shoot with, and held just as tight of groups as the Bushnell with all 4 people who shot it. Unless you are planning on building a strict competition shooter. We'll see how the long term reliability is and if I have problems, I'll update this. ***Update*** Dec 2021 I still have this sight and it works great. Used on an AR for about 1k rounds and then put it on my son's BB gun. It stopped working intermittently but I figured out that the spring for the battery wasn't making good contact. I stretched spring a little and it started working reliably again. I recently purchased a second of these sights for another firearm and it is great too! ... show more
