These goggles are exactly as described. However, I had bought these for my college chem lab, only to end up returning them because they did not meet the requirements. So if you're buying them for class, make sure to double check with your TA or something before purchasing.

I do electrical work and maintenance on my house, because I'd rather learn it than pay someone a lot of money. Especially, now with the pandemic surging. I don't recommend these all that much, because somehow whenever I wear a mask while wearing these goggles, these goggles fog up like nobody's business. I was trying to fix the ceiling fixture and needed to wear an N95 mask to keep the debris and rubbish away from my mouth and face and obviously wore the googles for similar reason, and these just kept fogging up to the point I couldn't wear them. It's fine for all other applications, but if you need to protect your breathing and cover your mouth, then I'd stay away. If you're just doing science experiments and stuff like in a high school chemistry or acid etching/washing a knife, this would be perfectly fine. I mean they do a good job of protecting your eyes, I just wouldn't recommend these if you're going to need to wear an N95 or any other type of mask with this. ... show more

I like to make stuff and fancy myself a garage engineer. Whilst working on an aluminum snare drum, I managed to get some of the shavings in my eye. It hurt terribly for several hours and was bloodshot to death! Had to rinse eyeball with running for 30 minutes. Highly unpleasant and I steel feel the scratches they made when I rub my eyes. These safety goggles consist of a strong draw strap and sturdy plastic. They're large enough to comfortably fit over glasses. Used in the southern Texas heat with no fogging. ... show more
