    • Simple But Durable DVD/BR Shelving
Overpriced for what it is: thin metal with a simple assembly that leaves bracing sections on the top and bottom just hanging over the frame (unfastened). It feels flimsy in the assembly stage, even when finished. HOWEVER, in the end it seems to work just fine. Once you fill it with DVDs/Blu Ray discs, it is perfectly sturdy. Something to appreciate that gives it more value is because it's steel, it won't scuff or scratch like cheap manufactured wood (or even solid wood which is a lot more $). This is perfect for when you're filling the shelves and need to constantly slide the DVDs around to organize them. Slide away, the shelves won't scratch or scuff which is awesome. As for others pointing out how misleading the height is: you should always go by the product details/specs and not just images. It's listed at 55" and that's just what it is. They could have made it 58" to make use of all the shelves for DVDs - then again, I needed something exactly around 55", so the bottom shelf will have to be used for CDs or other items. Even then, it holds about 49 DVD/BRs per shelf. With 5 useable ones, that's still about 245 movie, plus one row for CDs or other items. The advertised capacity of 300 to 400 CDs seems about right. I agree with others pointing out how it's too deep to display CDs well; same with DVDs. It would have been perfect 3 or 4 inches shallower, but then it might have balance issues and easily tip over. Some reviewers mention the instructions and video being difficult to understand but I disagree; it's extremely easy to assemble and only needs one person. The video could have been a little longer and spent more time on each step, but again, it's a very simple process. A few screws and you're done, as even the shelf holders are just metal hook inserts. All in all, I'm very satisfied in the end. It's a bit overpriced, but still cheaper than most fake wood cabinets, and far more durable. ... show more

I think the pictures in the description where taken in little/small people land (sorry I didn't look at the size in the name). Capacity is OK. Sturdiness is OK I guess. In all honesty this cabinet should cost less for what you get. Will consider getting a second though, just because there is still space left against my (big lol) wall. ... show more

What a challenging installation. The instruction booklet and online video is not very clear nor detailed enough to ensure you are putting the cabinet together correctly. I had to rebuild the cabinet twice before I figured out how to assemble the unit correctly. The quality of the metal is very light and will bend easily if you are not careful. This is definitely a two-person build. Once the unit is assembled (in about 2 hours) it holds a large quantity of CDs and DVDs, but install it where you want, because it is extremely difficult to move it once it is built--not very sturdy. ... show more

This Yilfana 55" media cabinet is a flimsy piece of garbage. The metal is paper-thin—you can literally flex the sides with your fingers—and it wobbles like it's drunk even empty. Sellers hype "sturdy" and "industrial-grade," but it's the cheapest, bendiest sheet metal imaginable that arrived already dinged. The whole thing feels like it'll collapse if you look at it wrong. After it was put together the parts that supposedly lock in place: bottom/top just fall out, there's nothing to hold these parts in. So sliding it around yeah that's not going to happen without it falling apart and bending since this is cheap flimsy so called "sturdy". Absolute waste of money; looks like it was stamped out in a sweatshop with zero quality control. Save yourself the regret and skip this trash. I am returning this and I do not recommend this storage cabinet. ... show more
