Ok this is getting 4 stars for the following reasons First the pros 1. It is very easy to assemble as long as you follow directions and have someone to help 2. It has plenty of space/ storage 3 it took about an hour and 15 minutes for me to set it up 4. All the parts are clearly labeled and there are extra screws and pegs! Cons: 1. It is made out of particle board and it will crack easy especially if over tighten the screws. 2. While the dimensions are as specified it is way too short!!! 3. I had to buy 12 inch legs to get it to at least a reasonable height for viewing. 4. the included legs are plastic and one broke when I tried moving it hence the additional legs as well as for additional height. 5. The doors do not close all the way . There is a gap if you use the predrilled holes on the cabinet walls and the door. After manipulating the doors and drilling new holes to better align the doors I got the gap to within 1/4 inch so there is still a gap. 6. You need to use a torque drill so that you don’t over tighten the screws or you will crack the laminate and the particle board. 7. The screwdriver included is a great idea but is too small for my hands and resulting in my using a drill that had torque settings to prevent cracking the laminate and the screws popping out of the particle board. 8. The provided hardware for the legs positions the 4 primary legs at an outward angle and (as I did) made it easy to break one of the legs. This also caused the particle board on the bottom where the hardware for the legs attaches to the bottom to crack when moving the cabinet. I had to use glue to fix the area damaged and with the new legs positioned the leg hardware at a 90 degree angle to the cabinet sides giving strength to the damaged area. The new legs are also straight up and down as well.

This TV stand has made 2 moves with me, including one across the country, so I’d say it’s fairly durable. It was straightforward to assemble, taking an hour or less. When putting it together, I noticed that 1 of the 2 doors is slightly opened / not flush to the stand, but it doesn’t bother me as it’s only like 1/2 cm.

If you're on a budget, this is so worth the price!!! My expectations were sort of low after reading the reviews and because of the price, but I'm thrilled about it and was so happy to show all my friends and family. Basically you're paying for the assembly time (mainly all the hand screwing) and the fact that it's faux/engineered wood instead of real, solid wood—and the final product looks fantastic! I read a lot of reviews saying it wasn't sturdy and it was bad/cheap quality, but I honestly don't think so at all. It took me about 2 hours to assemble, but it could've been done in probably 1.5 hrs if I hadn't made a mistake in step 1. Just make sure to: 1. Check all the pieces are there (I had everything + extras) 2. Follow the instructions (look closely at the pictures to make sure you're putting the screws in the correct holes of the big wood pieces in step 1) The only difficult thing was screwing by hand. It just takes time and physical effort because they're pretty tight, but that's a good thing because the whole thing feels really secure. Also some of the silver screw fasteners (idk what they're called, but the round, silver things in the top right of the pile in my first picture) weren't tight when I screwed them in, but I think I just didn't do them right and then I couldn't take them out. After doing all of them though, everything still feels really secure. I was also worried about the color being darker than pictured and darker than what I was looking for for my apartment, but I'm pleased with the color and how it looks! Glad I purchased despite my hesitations.

I really like the way it looks I like the length of it, I just wish it was taller. It was a lot shorter than my estimated and I really didn't pay attention to the height, I paid attention more to how it looked and that is on me. But it is nice piece of furniture. Putting it together was fairly easy.

Two major complaints First one was when I got the package and opened it I started to get super itchy - I had noticed on some social media apps that people have been getting theirs with fiber glass layering it. Well, to my surprise I shine some indirect light and every single piece lit up and there was TONS of fiber glass all over it. What should've maybe taken me an hour to assemble, took me several because I was sitting on the floor vacuuming every single piece then shinning a light to make sure the fiber glass was completely gone. The only reason I kept it was that I had family coming over and I needed a place for a TV and couldn't wait any longer. Even then, after cleaning everything my living room was covered in fiber glass. I spent the good rest of my day then vacuuming my entire living room and couch/rug. My second complaint is that I've not even had this thing very long, and today I finally went to put something in the cabinets and instantly the entire door broke off the wood and ripped the nails out as well. I was shocked. I would 1,000% not recommend you buy this - it looks STUNNING but after all of that? I attempted to open the other side too and it almost broke so I just stopped and left it close. So it's essentially just a TV stand that is wobbling like crazy.
