Easier to use than a lever style.
I keep 26, food grade 50 gallon barrels of water in my basement for emergency water. Every summer I cycle out the water and use it to water my thirsty trees. I use an electric pump, and although it's a time consuming project, its physically easy. In a grid down situation (without the use of an electric pump) I would have to use a lever operated pump. This pump will run circles around a lever operated pump, and it's much easier to pump.
