Why did you pick this product vs others?: More consistent good reviews. more of what I was looking for. Build quality: It works better than I imagined. The handle is plastic but then again, I'm not wailing on it with too much speed either. It's sturdy and pumps well but the pump piston leaks water. Pump functionality: I'm returning it for a replacement and I don't want it to leak. Thats alot of water wasted over time. They better send me a new pump that works. ... show more

    • Great pump for 55 gallon barrel
We use this on a 55 gallon barrel of RO water. It is very easy to use and unless you are almost out of water it pumps very fast and the priming of the pump is not long at all, just a few pumps. It seems pretty sturdy for being made of plastic. We have used it for over a year and have had no problems with it at all. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a pump for a 55 gallon barrel. The only issue is that the handle itself is a little loose when pumping but that is only because of it being made of plastic. As long as it is treated like it is made of plastic and not metal there will not be a problem ... show more

    • Functions as expected
The leaver functions easily and smoothly. Pump moves windshield washer fluid without any problem. Threads on bottom weren’t long enough to fit plastic drum properly but would probably be fine on steel drum. No leaks and a good product for the cost.
