My first fountain was a typical 3 tiered fountain. it looked nice but splattered water and we were having to add water every day. My second fountain was a cascading one that also splattered water. But, this fountain does not splatter water. It pours into each pot without any splashing. I have a 110 outlet in a bed for the septic tank pump and put this fountain in that bed. It is about 30 feet from where we sit. It looks great and sounds great too. I add water once a week.
