I had a keyless entry lock on my door but it's a decade old and doesn't have anywhere near the functionality of this lock. It was very easy for my husband to install. The design looks great on my door. It's built very well and is great quality. The main problem we had with our old keyless lock is that the battery would just die with no warning. Last winter that happened right during a snowstorm and I had to get into my house through a basement window. No fun! I love the many different features of this lock from fingerprint to passcode. I love that you can still unlock this manually with a key. After the debacle last winter I never want to go through that again. I love that you can set a timer to lock the door automatically. I have two young adults living at home that have friends over all of the time. They frequently forget to lock the door and I love knowing that my door will lock on its own even if I'm sound asleep. I feel like this has added a level of security to my home that wasn't there before. I no longer wake up in the dead of the night to double check the door being locked. I'm so impressed with this lock. I absolutely love it. I think this is a great value for the money and would highly recommend this product. Five stars!

This keypad door lock was straightforward to install and it took me 15 minutes from start to finish, including taking out the old door lock. The manual shows the programming steps and I could set up the master code quickly. The quality seems decent and I like that it is waterproof as well. A key feature for me is that the fingerprint reader is really fast, less than a second. Overall, I'd recommend this keypad lock as an affordable replacement to old-school key lock.
