I hope I dont jinx my luck with a 5 star review. These have worked great. The panel and led has been exposed to temperatures over 90 degrees and rained on in the cold (40 degrees) and the panel and led had held up so far. Fingers crossed it keeps going!

The adhesive separated from the light strip when peeled back. I tried for an hour to try to get it to cooperate and it just kept happening no matter what I did. So the strip lights are not sticky but the peel away paper is. I see the others have complained about this also, but I did not read reviews prior to purchase. So, if you are looking for strip lights that stick, Good Luck! Maybe I got a bad batch. I am going to try to figure out a way to get them to stick. ... show more

    • UPDATED! Pretty disappointed in product but..

UPDATE: The seller saw my less than great review and reached out to me to provide a full refund. I didn't even ask for one, so that tells me at least the customer service is top notch and maybe it was just the remote that's bad. I have updated my review from 3 stars to 4 based on customer service. The lights look super cool once on. However, remote does not work and they only stay on for about 3 hours once they come on at dusk. Thinking it might be a setting on the remote (like a timer) but we will never know since damn remote does not work. .and the solar is in full sun. I will keep them as I had to screw in every little tiny screw to get them to stick (the sticky tape is pretty worthless) so too much work has gone into them to return. ... show more

Like the lights and the solar panel, but don’t like the self adhesive. It markets them as self adhesive, but when I received, in the fine print of instructions it says self adhesive is only temporary and the clips must be used. I bought because I didn’t want to use clips that add nail holes (rot entry points) to a painted exterior wood railing. I installed yesterday using adhesive only and this morning they have fallen down. I cleaned the wood surface with rubbing alcohol and it was dry when I installed. It rained AFTER install. My last set stayed firmly adhered for 3 years till I pulled them down. That brand wasn’t available for repurchase. Both were installed in the same underside of the railing. The remote didn’t seem to work either, but I’m ok with that because I really didn’t want a remote at all. I just want the lights to come on at dusk and stay on till the solar battery depletes. I have string Edison lights on a remote and I didn’t want remote interference. ... show more

I attached these to my outdoor RV rug(with the help of zip ties). Adhesive is ok, won't stand up to dirt. Zip ties did the trick. I am so happy with the results! I had seen an outdoor rug with lights but couldn't find the correct size. I figured i could just use my existing rug. It lights up my campsite perfectly and stays on all night!
