I love it but the car charger gets too hot and starts to melt and burnt out a fuse and started to Smoke. Could have started a fire. I returned the first one thinking it was a malfunction bur turns out replacement did the same thing. Also, it made it so I can’t use my car charger. *Update 6-21-23: This Power Station has yet to have ANY issues !! Still worth EVERY penny I paid and NOW they OFFER THIS EVEN LOWER THAN i PAID. We do NOT go camping (yet) I've been using this as a source for my music equipment in order to go & perform LIVE wherever there is NO A/C. I need to have my Yamaha keyboard; Multi channel Mixer; Vocal processor; light; Wireless Mic AND my Nano 300 PA w/ satellite speakers. Total wattage approx 95watts. Of course this will waver according to the volume I perform at yet, I've averaged approx 2 1/2 hrs and I still had ONE BAR on the power meter. I have yet to run it 'till it stopped. I plan to shortly-just for the final big test to see what happens. The Good: It's light & portable-NOT BULKY at all.It really seems sturdy--not some cheap plastic throw together piece of crap. What I LOVE is its ability to recharge MY CAR as I go about my errands; use the solar panel or use my home's A/C which I do NOT use--for that would defeat my purpose. Outside of the initial 1st charge out of the box-I have yet to even have a need to use my house current. I 'll have more pics on my setup soon.The only negative , if anyone really cares because I don't) is, it cannot be charged while being used. Like I typed earlier-I don't really care because the ''500'' fits so well in my car's passenger seat's floor, it's a no brainer to take along anywhere I go--just note it does NOT take hours to recharge the 500 while I drive. It is cheap but 500 watts for under 200 dollars. Now the DC plug won't charged things for me it shuts off so I don't use it. It sits by the couch and charges my phone and a air purifier that runs 1.5 watts. I have power boxes that cost me 100's more if I need something stronger. My wife uses Dr prepare 200 watt for tv. Cause it is easy for her to turn on Ac just hit button. This one you hit the button a red triangle 🔺️ comes on and turns off. That means AC is on. Wife hates it she likes how Dr. Prepare does it. So I use it just for what I said. So if not alot of money try it. But don't be thinking your getting the boxes that people spend big money on. And there is pass through charging while it charges. ... show more

Plugged in a 100 watt 120vac light bulb and it lasted 2.5 hours, exactly what it was supposed to. 296x.85/100=2.516 hours. Nice compact unit is well built. Would be 5 stars except the screen cannot be read in direct sunlight. Since many people will use the power pack for solar storage, it seems that reading in direct sunlight should be possible. ... show more

We travel with a portable refrigerator and need to keep the unit cold during a hotel stay as SUV has no live power when ignition is off, this unit is exactly what we have been looking for, keeps the refrigerator at 35 degrees up to 14 hours, when on the road we recharge for use the next evening.

I bought this about 2 months ago and wanted to write a review after I tested it a bit. Throughout all my testing it has worked fabulously. The noise level is basic non-existence. I make crafts and set up at craft shows. I bought this because there are a few shows that electricity is not available. Recently my set up requires electricity. Through testing this power station is proving to supply enough power for all my needs. First off, it is very easy to charge. I have charged it several times already to test length of time for powering the items in my booth. This model has 2 regular outlet plugs. Test #1: plugged in outlet 1 - small power strip to connect all lights - lights consist of 2 very long power strips with a night light in each socket (12 each), 1 sting of bigger bulb string of lights, and 6 strings of smaller lights - all this ran for 9 hours and the battery was showing only 1/2 had been used. Test #2: With battery power at 1/2 from test #1, I pulled in an oscillating fan (50w) as well as everything from test #1. I pulled the fan into the small power strip as well. All of this continued to run for another 2 hours and the battery was showing about 3/4 had been used. Test#3: With battery power at 1/4 from test #1&2, I plugged a box fan (unknown w) into the other outlet as well as everything else from test 1&2. This box fan basically drained it and quick because 20 minutes later it quit. Recharged Test #4 - Started out with all the lights from test 1 and the fan from test 2 - after 3 1/2 hours the battery was at 1/2 power. It quit at 6 1/2 hours. So basically, if I am at a show, I can run all my basic the entire time. If I need a fan, I just need to monitor how long it is running. ... show more
