Great dehumidifier for the home! I didn’t realize how humid my home was until I started using this machine. The tank will fill up once or twice a day to be emptied. Awesome investment if you think you need a dehumidifier. You can set it to the humidity level you want in the home and it will automatically run to get you there. I use the water collected for my plants outside. It does come with a hose if you use it in an area you can drain. I do wish the tank was a little lager though. We got this dehumidifier for our master bath replacing an older smaller dehumidifier. Our bath is fairly large (20 x 15) and the smaller unit was just not cutting it. Here are our observations using this dehumidifier - - The unit operates in 4 modes - dehumidifying, laundry, continuous, and sleep. The dehumidifier can be run either with a target humidity level (RH) or on a timer. Water either collects in a rather small tank or can be setup to continuously drain. In our case, continuous drain was not an option so we let the water collect in the tank. - Between the target RH vs timer, we ended up operating in the RH mode setting our target to 50%. - After about a week's operation, we can actually feel the lower RH. The unit turns on around 52-53% and shuts off when the RH drops to about 48%. The noise level is acceptable - about as loud as a table fan. - The one downside with the small tank is that it fills up after every 2 days. While it is stunning to see the amount of moisture this unit pulls, emptying the tank every couple of days is turning out to be a chore as it requires some effort to remove the tank. Note about our experience with support - The original unit that got shipped to us would not turn on. We contacted support thinking we missed an assembly step but turned out the product was defective. They shipped us a replacement that worked right away. Overall this dehumidifier does a nice job although the defective product calls into question the quality control. ... show more

Works really well, I needed something to go in my laundry room and it’s night & day after having this in there. The humidity level used to be so bad it made being in there awful. Now I don’t have to worry! It’s barely noticeable….very compact and quiet!
