I was struggling with a damp, musty smell in my basement, but this Glowells 21 Pints Dehumidifier cleared it up in less than 48 hours! For a unit that covers up to 1600 Sq.ft, it is surprisingly compact and powerful. It has completely transformed the air quality in my home, making it feel fresher and much more comfortable. The 3 Operation Modes are incredibly useful and easy to navigate. I primarily use the DEHU mode for smart humidity control—it allows me to set my target level, and the machine automatically cycles on and off to maintain it, which saves a ton on energy. The Dry mode is a hidden gem; it’s perfect for drying laundry indoors during rainy days, and the CONTI mode is a powerhouse for those extra-damp areas like the bathroom or a closed-up RV. One of my favorite features is the Whisper-Quiet Operation. At under 36 dB, I can actually run this in my Bedroom at night without it disturbing my sleep. It’s a low, gentle hum that fades into the background. The inclusion of the Drain Hose is a massive plus for Basement use. I simply hooked it up to my floor drain, and now I never have to worry about emptying the water tank manually. I have some cracks in my home that I just keep putting off fixing, then it decides to rain sideways (because I'm in Florida) and some water seeps in and I end up having to peel back my carpet and dry things out. It's a pain, but it's my fault. I have been using a high powered fan, but I was figuring that's just spreading out the moisture. When we have had leaks at my work, they used a dehumidifier like this, and I saw how quickly it filled up and how effective it was at making sure there was no damage or mold growth. This unit seemed to be quite efficient and effective. It got right to work and pulled quite a bit of moisture away. It's not loud. My daughter was still actually able to sleep in her bed. Other units I have seen be louder and more annoying. I will need to research any other uses that I can find, but with everything being so humid in FL, I'm sure it's going to be put through its paces.

I’ve been using it in a below ground level utility room. I was looking for a compact size and functional product. Lucky me. I found this. It worked out without a hitch and it met the manufacturers claim for capacity, compact and lighter than most dehumidifiers. Mine is set on auto and continuous operation easy controls and easy to clean filters just plug it in set it up and connect the hose and enjoy.

Very happy with this dehumidifier. We’ve tried to before, but never really pulled the moisture out of the air like this one. I picked this one because it has a specific dry feature and being in an RV sometimes we need to just get the moisture out. It is very quiet. The drain hose allows for continuous running and being off grid. It still does not pull that much power.
