The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that several of the sticks were misshapen - not broken, but the wood had splintered off on the side. I would think this is natural because these are real wood, but I wasn't able to use those. Other than that, these worked out great for the fans at my wedding. Got these to make fans to stash everywhere in case of hot flashes. Hubby got one free at golf tournament made with a handle like this and thin cardboard and it was the best hand fan! So I bought an art tablet of watercolor paper (instead of the cardboard), glued the handle into it and covered the body of the fan with pretty scrapbook paper. Nice! ... show more

These are great! I used to make fans and signs for a family reunion. I matched the t-shirts I made, coasters, banner, etc. I also brought a box o'stuff for people to make their own at a craft table.
