    • Eh it’s just ok.
It comes with the tools required for beginners but some of the tools are subpar. The description says it comes with a durable box that’s great for organizing and there is no organizing the tools once you open and remove tools. They’re just loosely placed back in the box. That’s probably the most annoying part because sometimes I can’t even get the box to close once you take everything out unless you take a photo of everything when you initially open it, but that’s not really even optimal. Over, I’d say it’s a pretty good kit for someone who has never crafted leather before. I was able to use what I needed to make my first leatherman sheath. I kinda wished I got the larger kit because it does have a few more things I wish I had but overall I gave this product 3 stars. ... show more

    • Modest quality NEEDS TO BE SHARPENED BEFORE USE
Most of the sharp edges are rather rough and poorly sharpened. They will produce awful results as-is. Beginners don't need that kind of hassle and frustration. Look up some videos on youtube about sharpening leathercraft tools and you will learn a lot. These are precision tools in their intended purpose. The guidelines talk about honing sharp edges with 3,000 grit sandpaper and higher. Don't even try it with 400 grit stuff. You really need to learn from these videos. I'm convinced you can do a reasonably good job with these tools if you sharpen them properly. ... show more
